HubPages Success Stories # xstatic's way to Fame through Humor, Storytelling and Poetry

Updated on February 14, 2013

Humor equals Success.

There will be a 'comedian' inside us but there are persons who really exude that aura and deliver every line effortlessly. I mean a humorous story or an anecdote will be best delivered by persons who's not acting as a humorist.

An A-1 humorist,.to me, will be identified through his actuation coupled with his or her natural flair in delivering it in an enlightening way.

Now, to be humorous doesn't mean you have to showcase it with lots of gestures and exaggerated facial expression.

Some people didn't even laughed whenever they tell a story. It's the audience that will find them interesting on how they deliver it to convey happy or laughable incident.

It's different when you write out of humor that can be wholesome as well.

Most of us will imagine the sexually-laden humors that can trigger our imagination and beyond.

But this man will feel, as though he's just talking in front of you telling a story of the day.

You'll gonna feel excited and ecstatic, once you get to know him, based from his featured hubs on HubPages.

He, surely, omitted the 'e' and replaced 'c' with 'x' to make it more youthful and the meaning more wholesome.

And that's where we start digging more about Sir Jim Higgins, the 'xstatic' man in this writing community.

Let's have a cup of coffee first, while he entertains us with his story of success by baring his antics, humor, poetry, stories about life and a lot more between the 'y' and 'z'.

Not the zzzzzzz! Don't sleep yet, I'm not finished telling a story. I'm just starting.

Some of xstatic's featured hubs

Jim Higgins aka xstatic, an actor, a Valentine Man

It's night in the USA but here in the Philippines, it's already morning (around 9:00 AM) while I started doodling words in my mind.

How can I pay tribute to Men of HubPages, especially elders (don't jab me, please) without hurting the young ones.

I've been paying tribute for mostly my own kind, but I didn't single out Sir Jim Higgins from the bunch yet.

Excuse me, ladies but this man who's a responsible man to his wife (based from his stories) stirred my imagination of dubbing him as the HP's Valentine Man.

Well, I have his support since he started gracing this online writing site.

Most of the times, I'll be surprised that he's the first to comment in my hubs. That was not so long ago and until now, whenever his break time as actor permits him to tinker on his computer's keyboard.

Yes, He's a star-in-the-making these days, now that a short film entitled "Never Gonna Break" will grace film festivals around the world, with him playing as the county's sheriff.

Alright, he's already a star in the US through his achievements during his voice-over days. He's just adding to his portfolio the new role given to him that will surely pave the way to dominating the international market in movies.

Just like wine, as Sir Jim ages, the more fine qualities of a man is now being discovered by his agent.

I don't want to compare him with billybuc (aka Bill Holland) and rcrumple (aka Rich Rumple) because each one has his own identifying character. But they're a better version of Three Stooges. I might call them like that as The HP's Three S! Or maybe, the HubPages' Avengers or part of the team (since Thor, SuperMan and IronMan are already here, haha!).

Back in my radio days, there's a radio show featuring the three newspaper men/lecturer/orator/writers of our city back here in the Philippines, whom we jestingly dubbed as 3 Stooges.

Now, I might coin the three, if they'll permit me to do so.

And him, as a Valentine Man who'll spread an uncompromising and unconditional HubLove on this special day.

How to be an ecstatic person

The word 'ecstatic' used to describe a person who's expressing overwhelming happiness or enjoyment in life.

Perhaps, this kind of person has all the time in the world to be happy.

Oblivious of the fact that problems come to us at a varying degree each day, this person is not affected on the outcome of dark events that will affect the momentum of the coolness of life he's having.

I may say, this person have had experienced a mystical experience that only he can channel through doing good deeds in every way he can.

This tribute dedicated to xstatic is a very timely gesture on this Valentine's Day (February 14, 2013).

Let me share with you the passage from the Holy Bible as described through the site called the BibleGateway.

1 Corinthians 13

13 If I speak with human eloquence and angelic ecstasy but don’t love, I’m nothing but the creaking of a rusty gate.

2 If I speak God’s Word with power, revealing all his mysteries and making everything plain as day, and if I have faith that says to a mountain, “Jump,” and it jumps, but I don’t love, I’m nothing.

3-7 If I give everything I own to the poor and even go to the stake to be burned as a martyr, but I don’t love, I’ve gotten nowhere. So, no matter what I say, what I believe, and what I do, I’m bankrupt without love.

Then, to be a rapturous person is to be like xstatic.

It doesn't matter how we fare on HubPages. As long as we are happy with what we are contributing here, there will be no one to take that smile away from us.

Not away from xstatic.

A Poem for xstatic

On this day, hubbers,

please allow me

to weave a simple poem

dedicated to a writer at the helm.

A tribute to a man,

has just began...

perhaps a superhero

who's a very humorous fellow.

His presence exudes grandeur

to the HubLandia he explores,

sharing awesome moments,

our lighter side he captures.

Through poems, stories

and personal imaginings,

we will never be bitter,

as we wear smile as he lingers.

The voice over the radio,

or at the television show

his presence will mesmerize us

being an actor who'll surely rise.

Perhaps, my voice inside is not enough,

then, the rest of you will fill the gap,

whatever nice words that I've missed,

please leave it here before you leave.

@Kathryn Stratford: We all must be very careful when publishing hubs. I've been through a lot of warnings from the HP staff (Pardon me pls. I want to earn. :)

Anyways, it's nice to know that you already found the site of xstatic.

Travel man, I get it now. Being new to HP, I don't know much about what would constitute excessive links. I will have to be careful in my own hubs!

I found his page easily, anyway!

@Kathryn Stratford: Thank you for the nice post. I'll admit that as much as I can, I will not link any hubbers that I feature for fear that I'll be reprimanded with a warning of excessive links.

Anyways, I capture some of xstatic highlights through Capture-a-Screenshot (his profile and some of his most commented hubs)

What a surprise this is to me! I was out all morning and just discovered this amazing hub!

Flabbergasted is a good word to describe the way I feel, and honored as well.

"Stardom" is a big word for a small part in a twelve minute film, even if I did have a speaking part. I'm still waiting for the film's website to appear too.

travel man, I thank you for this huge surprise and the extremely kind words from you and the commenters listed above.

I don't think you have a link to his page. I'm curious about one of his articles, but he shouldn't be too hard to find.

Great choice for a profile. Jim is a wonderful writer and a loyal follower, and maybe the best thing about him is that he lives in Oregon. LOL Well done; wonderful profile and very nice of you to do this.

This is a really nice and informative tribute to xstatic, I think I've only read one of his hubs, the "How to get those honey-do jobs done the easy way", I laughed and I loved it through and through. I hadn't read his profile or much of his other pieces of writing as I've been quite busy setting up new writing profiles since my sociopath ex did a black hatter attack on my original account, so thanks for reminding me of his writing and informing me about this Valentine man, which I had no idea of his stardom other then that here on HubPages. I'm gonna have to check out some of those other interesting pieces you pointed out.
