HubWiki - Writing Hubs Is A Job!

Updated on December 27, 2012

Writing Hubs Is A Job!

Are you a hubber? More than likely, your answer is yes! There is an off chance that you have found this hub via a google search, though. The short story is that 'Writing Hubs Is A Job!'.

It can be and should be if you plan to make any real kind of money from hubpages revenue sharing. The amount of money that you want to make depends upon how you treat your hubpages writing schedule.

Like I said Writing Hubs should be treated as a job. To do this you need to simply just make a writing schedule and stick to it.

A hub a day will have you producing 30 hubs in 30 days and is a really good way to get on the way to earning your first adsense revenue check. A hub a day is not at all difficult to achieve either!

What Are Your Goals?

Goals are always good to have. My personal writing goal is to write 3 hubpages hubs each and every day of the week except sundays. So that means I need to write 18 hubs a week.

The thing is, I can usually write 5 or 6 hubs on my other day off (monday) when my kids are at school, so that is what I do. That gives me time to research what I am going to write about on other days. So all in all, I am not planning to write everyday. Just every other day.

If you are a complete beginner here on hubpages your goal should reflect your experience.

Create a hub a day everyday and set a goal to make just $1 a day from your hubs. Not at all difficult to do. After you have written your single hub - you should create a backlink (atleast 1). You can quickly back link your hub over at xomba another adsense revenue sharing site like hubpages. Bookmarks are easy to create and only need to be a minimum of 50 words (a couple of sentences).

Spend some time viewing other hubs by other hubbers and take the time to comment on their hubs or give them the thumbs up, rate them and actively participate in the hubpages community. You will find that this active participation will increase your traffic here on hubpages.

Be sure to write EVERYDAY!

Write Hubs On Similar Topics!

By writing hubs on similar related topics it gives you a chance to link your hubs to each other. This interlinking process will actually give you a huge boost here at hubpages.

The thing is, you don't necessarily have to link to your own hubs, you can link to pretty much any hub here on hubpages. The key to linking hubs is to make sure that the hub that you are linking to is related to the topic / theme of your hub. If you link a hub on 'how to buy cheap video games' to a hub about 'how to grow bananas' you are not going to gain anything at all.

Thanks Luke! I'm very new at this and this gave me some helpful tips that made sense! Good encouragement as well - I love to write but have not set a schedule for myself. It's never too late to start, tho!
