Updated - July 3, 2016
Our beautiful friend, Skye (Patti) has gone on to be with the Lord, who she loves so very much.
Skye2Day on HubPages
- skye2day on HubPages
God opened a window for me to write, again. There was no doubt I was led to hubpages through divine appointment. In High School I discovered...
Behind Blue Eyes . . . just Who Is This Beauty?
A woman of strength! A woman of beauty and grace… that true beauty from within and grace freely given! A woman who is able to love others above and beyond! A woman who has been tested and perseveres through it all! A woman of great faith! A woman after God’s own heart!
This woman is none other than Skye Tudae aka skye2day!
Yes, Skye is one passionate writer, who writes of her true life experiences without holding back to His glory.
Skye has been on HubPages for over seven years now and she has many followers and many who love her. What is there not to love? So, why did I feel the need to give lovely Skye a hug? Well, just because she is unwavering in sharing the love in her beautiful heart, not only in her amazing writing, but when leaving those truly loving comments on one’s hubs.
I know that each time Skye has visited one of my hubs, and left her comments, I truly feel the love that emanates from her heart. There is such a calming tone to her comments, leaving one feeling so very much at peace.
Thank you dearest Skye for caring and sharing here in HP Town and loving on all of us!
Skye writes true stories of hope and victory . . . and I encourage you to read just how it is that her true life accounts can be filled with so much hope and victory.
Skye is a daughter, a sister, a wife, a mother, an aunt, grandmother ... "Nanee" and has an dentical twin sister named Raine. Skye is also a "Believer" and a best friend to many.
Skye is a survivor and a living miracle, as she tells us in her own words that God had rescued her from the ravages of alcohol and drugs many years ago.
Dearest Skye, I want to send out this Hug here this day to you to thank you for letting your light shine so brilliantly before men, thereby, glorifying our sweet Lord God! My prayer is that you will continue to allow your light to shine. In reading your lovely hubs, I felt a strong bond to you, dearest Skye.

A Powerful Write of Skye's Absent Husband
Seasons in Life
As all of Skye’s followers know, Skye has faced many trials in her lifetime, and she knows that His Grace has carried her through and rescued her in her time of great need. In Skye’s profound write “Life And My Absent Husband”, Skye will touch your heart and leave you inspired.
Skye writes of the time when the God-fearing, sober and clean man she married went off to jail. Please enjoy this powerful piece where Skye writes of how she met this wonderful man she married and of falling in love and then ...
Here Skye points out that we all have trials, temptations and struggles to walk in this life. Not one of us knows what may come along the pathway of life, but when we step out in faith, she knows that all things are possible.
The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.— James 5:16
Rocco... just Look at That Sweet Face!
A Beautiful True Account by Skye
Read all about Rocco, a beloved dog, who belongs to Skye’s youngest daughter, Abby, and the miracle, through prayer that happened.
In this glorious write here, Skye tells us that so much was going on in her life at the time, and how God used Rocco to help keep her happy, living life to the fullest and loving others. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this piece here and received a blessing, and I just know you will too without a doubt! It is so awesome how God will use the least likely of persons or even His little creature to bless us and keep us going in this life, which can be so brutal at time.
My favorite sentence in this tremendous write here by Skye is simply, “God is the heart softener.”
Planting Seeds and Removing Weeds
Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.— Philippians 4:8
A Beautiful Write Using the Garden as a Metaphor
- Planting Seed in the Garden of our Life.
Every thought we have is a seed we plant in the garden of our lives. Whether it is a good seed of hope, peace, kindness and love or a bad seed of doubt, despair or doom the seed will multiply and grow.
The Power of Our Thoughts
Skye writes of just how powerful our thoughts are and their effects on every aspect of our life.
In reading Skye’s insightful and beautiful work here in this hub, I am reminded of the above-quoted scripture where He tells us to think on those things which are true, lovely, excellent and worthy of praise. How beautiful!
This is the key in keeping our minds at perfect peace, as Skye already knows so well. One certainly comes away with a sense of peace just from reading Skye’s loving and gentle reminder here of how we can keep our thoughts in line with God’s Word, so that we may be rest assured of that peace, His peace, the peace that surpasses all understanding.
Please do take time to read this thought-provoking (good thoughts that is) write by Skye! You will not be disappointed by any means whatsoever.
. . . and call on me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you will honor me.— Psalm 50:15
Skye's Plea, as only a Mother Can
- A Mothers Plea, God Help My Baby Girl. Chapter 1
I asked the nurses to please leave the room. I needed time alone. They obliged me and agreed to ten minutes. All I heard was the noise of the machines. There was one for the heart, one for breathing, one for the kidneys. I wish they would stop making
- A Mothers Plea, God Help My Child. Chapter 2
I thought I would drop to the floor. I told the nurse I needed to be alone. She obliged my request and handed me a couple of keenex. Tears streaming down my cheeks fell into my bra under my shirt.
The Heart of a Mother
Skye's love for her daughter, Abby, is so apparent here in these profound writes linked here, where she is crying out to God to save her beautiful little baby who is on death's door.
Please read and see the great power of prayer revealed when a Mother prays for the life of her child.
You will not soon forget these heartrending hubs.
There will be those times in this lifetime that it comes down to humbling oneself before God, by falling on our faces before the Lord in prayer. Skye is forthright in stating here in this hub, “It was by His grace I survived my own demons.”
While reading these “chapters”, chills literally covered my body at what Skye describes occurred while crying out to the Lord God. Please read for yourself this miraculous account by Skye in her own words.
For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.— Psalm 139: 13-14
I Knit You in Your Mother's Womb . . .
- I knit you in your mothers womb, the greatest miracle.
The Creator has Blessed me along with many others. I am proud to say I am a new 'Grandmother' I will be sure to add this to my list of plenty.
So Much in Love
Here Skye tells of the indescribable joy in becoming a grandmother, “Nanee”.
I know just how Skye feels, as I, too, experience such joy myself, for I am a “Nanee” as do so many other beautiful grandmothers that I know of here in HP Town!
It is a joy like no other, and please read about Skye’s falling in love all over again when Jayce is born. Just look how adorable is this little blessing from above!
Stains Are Washed Away
I can do all this through him who gives me strength.— Philippians 4:13
Skye's Powerful Testimony
- God Shining In His Glory, My heartfelt testimony in time of sadness.

Skye has a powerful testimony as to being sober for over 22 years. Please read as to just how she became victorious over the devastating effects the illness of alcoholism has on one's life.

Skye's Thought-Provoking Hub
- Helping Loved Ones or Enabeling Loved Ones
Have you ever wondered if you are in fact enabling a loved one or loving them? If so you are probably human. What do you do when face with helping another. This is my true story and how God led me to see through His eyes.
Helping or Enabling?
In another most powerful and true life account, Skye poses the question and discusses whether we are helping or enabling our loved ones. Skye's insightful hub here is indeed such a great topic to write on, especially for Skye, as she writes from her heart.
There is a fine line between helping our loved ones and enabling them, which actually harms our loved ones, to include ourselves.
I truly love everything about this wonderful hub here by Skye, as it gets right to the heart of the matter, and that is … how to truly help a loved one (including oneself) by not enabling, which causes more harm in the long run. No matter how hard it may be, it is what is truly best for all concerned.
Two sentences in Skye’s hub here that I especially love are (speaking of herself) …”It is in seeking I find, and in finding I am free. I am back on the Rock and humble pie.” How awesome!
Please know of the wisdom found in Skye's words by reading her insightful hub.
Life Without Anxiety
Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.— Philippians 4:6
It is Possible!
How Wonderful it Is to Be Anxiety Free!
Do you believe that this is even possible, for one to be totally anxiety free?
In this beautiful write of His truths, Skye discusses just how one can truly experience such in this lifetime.
Skye tells us that she writes this message to share her hope, experience and joy; that you are touched just where your heart needs touching.
Please enjoy reading this beautiful message here that could very well change your life of stress to that of one of being totally free to be anxiety free!

In Conclusion ...
Skye tells us she has learned to not take herself too seriously by laughing, not being too hard on herself, exercising and most importantly, praying! Yes, dearest Skye, I am constantly laughing at myself and praying too!
I am blessed to know you dearest Skye, just for who you are, and that is a beautiful child of our Lord God.
