Information and Inspiration
Okay, now to get to the reason this information has been, posted. Outside of these being fun facts, there is something hidden within the secret of this riddle. For example, one-third of the world’s population is online. Resources state that Japan has the highest number of internet users in the world. Surprisingly, there are several countries, which use the internet more than Americans do.
Another fun fact: there are nearly a billion websites. What this means is that trying to stand out online is comparative to being a blade of grass in a huge field. Do not let this bother you. The internet is still making millionaires every single day. Simply, keep working hard while learning everything you can. Fact is, before you build your first website, learn all there is to know about having one.
Okay, so now that the reason for the population stats was explained let us talk about why the musicians were, thrown into the mix. Alabama, an all time personal favorite wrote a song called, The Fans. In the song, they talked about the sacrifices they made to stick by the dreams. Whether or not you like country music is irrelevant. Watch the video and listen to the words in the song. There is some solid advice in those lyrics for all of us who work hard for our dreams and for those, which need to learn to focus more on their dream and less on the distractions in their life.
Fighting for a dream
As for George Strait, well, what else can be said, about the man…57 number one hits and counting. Absolutely, incredible! It is reasonable to believe that he could write volumes about his early years of struggling to get into the business and the sacrifices he made to stick hard to his dream.
Metallica: Their determination is awe-inspiring
Another inspiring story comes from Metallica, one of my other favorites. I recall Lars Ulrich, the amazing drummer, talking about how they lived off bologna sandwiches without the sandwich while trying to make it in New York. They would scrounge their change together, buy a pack of cheap bologna, and split it up straight out of the pack. No bread or anything else; all the ate was bologna. Yea, they could of went back to California, took up regular jobs but they had a dream. Therefore, they starved themselves to stick by that dream.
No Pain, No Gain
‘No pain, no gain,’ says a lot more about struggling to live the dream for more than just, weightlifters…that advice is great for all of us. Determination is the key to success. Without hardcore determination, you cannot obtain your goals.
Thanks to legalities and the things I did not know, I have had to redo all 85 of my hubs, three times today. Yes, there was a few times when I thought about flushing the whole projuect down the drain and focusing on my novels, instead. Eight hours of backtracking and adjusting every single hub times three. That is 255 times I had to adjust my posts. In eight hours, I can produce three chapters of a novel.
Instead of giving up, I rolled up my sleeves and fixed everything as it needed to be. Why? Because I am determined to succeed as you should be. Never let anyone tell you, you cannot do something. The only thing you should not do is break the law or bring someone down instead of lifting them up. Outside of that, you can do anything you set your mind to. Stay focused, stay confident and ignore them.
Never give up no matter how high the hurdles may get. Giving up on your dreams is giving up on yourself and you should never let yourself down. When someone asks me why I push so hard, I always tell them the same thing, "You cannot do my work for me and I do not know of anyone else who can. This is my work...this is my responsibility to myself."
