  • Making Money on HubPages

Updated on November 13, 2013

You'll be lucky to buy Starbucks once a month on what you make on Hubpages.

Red Tape, Censorship and Lies.

As many of you know, I have been forced to flee my home, leave my wife, and live a lifestyle on the run. It all started by a number of expose' pieces I wrote about a nameless author (check the comments below, and you'll figure it out). Suddenly, I became a target for the public safety censorship types here on hub pages, a group that is reminiscent of Uncle Joe's (Stalin) NKVD.

Although I have been able to escape repeated attempts to apprehend me, I'm afraid that I may not be able to flee forever! As my final retort to the regime's fanatical oppression, I present to you (drum roll please) the First Amendment to the United States Constitution:

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

This sums it up. They are not protecting anyone's honor, not the unnamed author who will undoubtedly post repeated comments below, nor are they ensuring that only high quality writing appears here on Hub Pages. It is simply put, censorship. Oppression. An attack on the very fabric of American society.

This Man is a Fraud!

The old cross, double cross.

Above all, we must realize that no arsenal, or no weapon in the arsenals of the world, is so formidable as the will and moral courage of free men and women. It is a weapon our adversaries in today's world do not have.
Ronald Reagan

Unfortunately I was naive enough to be lured into this online predator's game of cat and mouse. Little did I know, that he was a rat! (Not one of those cute little pet shop rats, but a large vicious disease infested sewer rat type) Not only did he encourage me to write repeatedly about him, but it turns out that he incited our "neighbors" in the forum to inform the mighty "banhammer" of my online activities. This not only resulted in two of my Hubs being unpublished, but they will not re-publish them, even with a disclaimer.

Government exists to protect us from each other. Where government has gone beyond its limits is in deciding to protect us from ourselves.
Ronald Reagan

Self Serving Arrow!

Can't trust a man that always self-promotes.
Can't trust a man that always self-promotes.

Facts are stubborn things. -Ronald Reagan

The truth is, this man is self-serving and narcissistic. He thinks only of himself, not being concerned with the damage that he leaves behind. This author whom will go unnamed, even has the audacity to deploy a big orange "Gee whiz, you should click here" arrow in order to get "them" to promote his hubs.

This has to be stopped here and now!

Government's first duty is to protect the people, not run their lives.
Ronald Reagan

With this in mind, I call everyone who is willing to stand up for truth, justice and the American way of life to stand together now. Please consider the comments in the Hub below a petition.

Although it is easy to persecute those who fall victim to "them" and become their "lap giraffe", we should look upon them with pity. I am afraid that a number of author's here on Hub Pages have become just that type of victim. Please, love them, don't persecute them. In the eternal words of the Apostle Paul:

"For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places." (Eph 6:12 ESV)

Rules of Engagement.

If you choose to take up the cause of freedom, there are several survival tactics that you will need to learn and develop.

  • Ronald Reagan quotes are to "Commies" like garlic is to vampires.
  • Use pertinent Scripture references as needed (Holy Bible of course).
  • Never, ever use your real name.
  • Keep moving. Forward momentum is your best defense.
  • Never allow anyone to know that you have gained fame and fortune from Hub Pages. Hordes of teenage groupies always, and I mean ALWAYS gives away your position.
  • You can never be too careful when speaking to strangers. Remember what your Mom said.
  • There are only 3 Wi-Fi connections in Tijuana. You don't want to go to any of them. Period.
  • You cannot buy allergy medicine from a drug "cartel".
  • If your married, your spouse will not understand. So, just tell them that you need to take an extended vacation, driving, only using cash for gas.
  • When you hear gunfire, duck!
  • Don't eat the yellow snow.

I have wondered at times what the Ten Commandments would have looked like if Moses had run them through the US Congress. - Ronald Reagan

Has reading the unnamed author who will comment repeatedly belows Hubs gotten your hopes up?

See results

Really lame disclaimer.

If the above article offends you, I don't know what to tell you. Although the freedom aspect of it is very true, the parts of it aimed at Hub Pages and the unnamed author, who will not be named ever again, accept under duress of torture is purely for humor, irony and plain old fun.

I must say that I have no clue what this is all about. Everybody has to play nice in the sandbox. I hope all is well for you now.

James, I'm not sure if things are going to be Ok here at Hub Pages or not.. I'm going to try and write some "legitimate" hubs here soon. I've had a great deal of school work to do the last couple of weeks, and it's made me a bit behind in my writing.. Thanks though, and I'll try not to kick sand and push my neighbors...

I tried that one... had another dozen hubs on a wide range of topics. Ended up taking them all down. They just confused people.

I think they kept looking for the punchline... but see, it was REEEEEEEEAAAAAALLLLLLYYYYYYY dry comedy.

Hmmm . . . This is very interesting, but like James Watkins, I'm not sure what it's all about--about hubs being unpublished? Still, interesting . . . .

If you have time, please look at some of Greg Sage's hubs. It was basically a series of Greg's comedy writings that this was in response to. Greg & I had a great time going back and forth. Apparently some folks here on Hub Pages didn't care for our sense of humor and reported/unpublished some hubs (mine as well as other hubbers). It was all in good fun, but apparently we will have none of that HERE! Thanks for you response!
