Motivation To Write Another Hub

Updated on October 10, 2011

Motivation is everything, if you are not motivated to write, you will not write.

How to keep yourself motivated?

1. Compete against other Hubpage writers to see who writes more hubs. There are accolades and they are always published. If you check out other people's progress you get more motivation to keep going. I cannot find out who wrote more but I believe no one yet wrote 10K hubs to get the ultimate writing accolade.

2. Try to be the first to get the ultimate writing accolade. This means you published over 10K hubs. You will need at least one year working day and night to accomplish this task and you would have no life other than writing.

3. Money can motivate you. We all need it and hubpages is a great way to make money. Calculate how much each hub pays you on average and calculate how much you could earn writing at least 10 hubs a day.

Try writing more and faster

Try to keep up with the news!

Writing about topics no one cares anymore will not have a positive effect on your views and earnings. On the other hand if you write about news, you ca be sure the demand and amount of page views will be higher.

Subscribe to the best news providers to keep up to date every minute with what is happening around the world. Most of the times nothing big happens but when something big happens if you are the first spreading the word, people will come and view, click and buy.

Subscribe to smaller sources of news that do not make to the first pages on Google. Even though they have high quality news, just because no one links to them it does not mean they are not good. Use their news to get ideas to write about and make sure you publish them on Hubpages to make to the top of Google search results!

Newsvine is one of the best sources of news. Subscribe to them immediately!

Very good hub. I've only been on here for about a week and a half, but me and my girlfriend signed up on the same day and we've been competing ever since. I'm totally winning so far ;) writing 27 hubs a day would take so much time, but if you just wrote nothing but poems and short stories it would probably be attainable.
