My 200th Hub! Spreading Hub Love!

Updated on October 3, 2012

Thank you!

Wow how awesome is this?

Wow how awesome is this? I am so amazed!

My 200th Hub!

The hub has been good to me! All my followers and been great to me!

I have been with the Hub for 11 months and Now I have 200 hubs!

Here are just a few of the wonderful hubbers that follow me and are amazing!

Frank Atanacio :Frank, all the way from Shelton, your writing and your poems are simply amazing, I always think you writing can’t get any better and then I read the next one! And Michelle loves you! Frank Your poems should be a movie script or they should be on CSI or LAW AND ORDER or CRIMINAL MINDS. What an exceptional writer you are my friend.

'I guess a little bit about me goes here.... Lets see, I was born in Hartford Connecticut. I enjoy writing dramatic poetry, and fiction. I love writing my Nick PT Barnum Stories.. The latest is titled'

When the Kingdom comes, God Will Understand!'

Picklesandrufus: Pickles, thank you so much I love your beautiful work you work leaves me content. Your work makes me want more and more.I am so please and honored to know you and follow you.

There are not many things in life that cause me to completely lose track of time, but writing is one of them. It has a stimulating, yet calming effect on me-an unlikely and enjoyable combination! The arts, animals, children and reading are some of my other loves. I published my first children's picture book in 2009 and it has been recognized by Mom's Choice Awards, Dove Foundation and Writer's DIgest. The name of it is "Anastasia Pickering. Anastassia's Rain". Please check out my if you have a young child in your life. I look forward to writing articles for Hub Pages and hope you find them entertaining!'

Faith Reaper, Faith you are just brilliant in your writing and your imagery and videos are stunning and your hubs always seem to draw me in.

'I love to write poetry and what I call my "Boasting in the LORD" stories. Each one of us has a special gift or gifts given to us by God, and we are to use those very gifts to glorify Him. We all have those beautiful stories about how the LORD has worked in our lives, and those usually are through trials and tribulations. All of us should share those stories to, not only glorify Him, but to bless others in ways one may never know. We just need to put it out there, and allow the Holy Spirit to run with it. We should not be surprised when we face many trials, as He tells us this very thing in His Word. My given name means "reaper" or "harvester," which I love. So, that is how I came up with my hub name. Plus, I just threw in the Faith part because, well, I am growing in my faith everyday. I have faced many trials and tribulations in my lifetime, as we all do, but what I desire to do most is glorify Him and not myself. For the most part, I am a non-fiction writer. Last year, July of 2011, the LORD healed me of breast cancer, plain and simple, no doubt. One problem I have is that I have to drive an hour to and from work daily, and so I must find the time to write. I am looking foward to much feedback. I love serving and worshiping the LORD. I once witnessed a miracle of the LORD while serving in a women's prison ministry. I also saw the face of Jesus while serving the LORD in a personal ministry to the homeless or downtrodden. All of these ministries were definitely His ministries! I love children, and the LORD reminds us that we should not hinder the children in coming to Him.

I am not attempting to convert anyone to Christianity here, but I am merely telling my life experiences as they really happened.

I love the following quote by an unknown author:

"God makes a promise---faith believes it, hope anticipates it, patience quietly awaits it." Unknown'

tammyswallow , Tammy, all the way from North Carolina, You writings are visually and poetically astounding.. You always captured our hearts.

'Thanks for dropping by.. no one here is a stranger.. just a friend I haven't met yet! I have studied everything from Sociology, Spanish, to Literature and earned a BS in Pre Law. I work in the fields of human services and as a paralegal.

I am the mother of four children ranging from diapers to college.

My interests range from poetry, literature, music (I LOVE heavy metal and my kids always make me turn the music down), relationships, animals, animal rights, photography, sociology, psychology, parenting, Celtic and British Literature, Astrology, Fairies, and the Paranormal. I have a very warped sense of humor as you will see.

I love Hub pages because I enjoy being connected with others and humanity. I think we all have so much to share and teach each other.'

PurvisBobbi, Bobbi, all the way from Florida, Your hubs are amazing, your words always touch my heart.

'It will soon be fall in Florida and the green leaves will turn to hues of golden and amber, with splashes of crimson; to decorate our yard painting it a rainbow of autumn colors.

When the trees are bare only the Spanish moss will hang and sway with the sporadic breeze bringing us icy air from the north. Then we can take a deep breath into our lungs and feel the fresh cool air of winter that will follow soon.

I love all seasons in the countryside where so many wonderful neighbors live and care about each other.

Many birds will come to live in our yard from the north and we will feed and take care of them, as we do our squirrels and other out-door wild animals.

My loves are: Family which includes my pets, friends, writing, writing and writing more. I love to read and watch movies, cook and decorate. My hobbies are: Making jewelry, making new recipes and sharing with friends.

I have enjoyed writing on Hub Pages and meeting so many nice people and writers.

I never thought I would talk to anyone on the Internet I did not personally know---but I do now with Hub Pages and my Face Book, Google+ and Pinterest accounts. And I have learned so much from these people who have become an Internet Family.

So it is wonderful to be alive at this time in our World---and I hope you have enjoyed visiting with me for a while. Enjoy life and live each day as a cherished gift---because it is.'

LaThing, Lathing,all the way from Northeast, U.S.A., thank you for Heavenly and beautiful hubs;

'Quite often I get asked about the reason behind my profile name. Here is where you will find the answer, My Encounter With Hub pages!

Little intro:

LaThing is a mother, a wife, programmer analyst by profession, but she decided to be a stay home mom and loves every moment of it!

Comes from a family of politicians, politics runs in her blood, so she chose to stay away from it! Loves the One Who created her, and chose not to discuss, or argue with others regarding this! Has seen a lot in her life, and has learned from the positive, and the negative experiences. A believer in the fact that everything happens for a reason, and we are product of our choices! And she Chose not to go into the philosophical aspect of it!

Joining hub pages was a coincidence, but has been a fun filled journey! She has met a lot of great writers, made friends, and has decided to stay away from making any enemies! :)

Whether you are a top notch writer, or just stepping into the realm of writing, this is a great place to be. Join us in this great journey where you can express yourself, publish your ideas, write poetry, work on some facts, or whatever tickles your fancy.'

ImKarn, Leslie, all the way from Canada, thank you for being so stunning! You are a shining STAR in the hub pages heavens!

'Punnacious Communicatrix Extraordinaire who freezes her skinny ass off in Canada!

I use humor and sarcasm to get me through the day - and the cold!

I adore my dog, tolerate my kids, and enjoy poker, Harley s, yoga, dancing, horses, shoes - and WORDS!

Words are sexier than Elvis and blue suede shoes combined! And - that's sayin' somethin' (corner of upper lip rises in perfect imitation of Elvis's derisive sneer..)!

I specialize in - or like to think I specialize in - psychology, fitness, current events, politics, fashion - and MEN!

My mission - which I have chosen to accept - is to learn, share, inform, amuse - and, hopefully - to make you think!

I try to be grateful every single day - for every single day! I believe that life's too short for envy and anger - and greed truly pisses me off!

My wish is that people could be kinder to one another, pull their heads out of their...iThingies..(and other places I'm too polite to mention) - and - oh, yes - dress better!

Now, is that too much to ask?

If you absolutely ADORE what I write - and I so hope that you do - feel free to share it with all your friends and neighbors!

And countrymen, for that matter!

I promise - I won't mind a bit!

Hope you're smiling!'

Curiad, Mark, all the way from California, Thank you for such wonderful hubs you produce!

'I am an energetic, outgoing individual that enjoys a variety of things. I have worked with photography for 30 plus years beginning back in the late 1970s doing in-home baby portraits, school photography and sports photography and even had my own small business. I enjoy flying light aircraft and hot air balloons and hold an FAA commercial pilot’s certificate. When I was younger, I enjoyed rock climbing, martial arts, bicycling and both making and listening to music.

I also enjoy writing and teaching and have been doing so for some years. I have spent 20 plus years working as an engineer in the building controls field and many of those years training clients in the construction, service and operation of these systems.

I have traveled the USA and been in almost every major city and many smaller ones in the process of his work, and have been from Fairbanks Alaska to Miami Florida. I have trained all types of people from contractors to scientists with Masters Degrees and PHDs.

My varied experiences give me a unique outlook on life and an ability to see “beyond” just the ink and paper. I seek the spirit in my work and strive to make each creation alive and speak a message.

One thing we all can do to help each other out is to Share good hubs with others. You can do this by clicking the “hub Pages followers” button or any of the social media buttons at the top right of every Hub.'

BlossomSB, Blossom, all the way from Victoria, Australia, thank you for writing a winner hubs, beautiful and the spiritual thoughts.

'I've lived in a number of towns and countries with my husband, who was an Anglican priest, and family of five children, and have taught at all levels from preschool to university. We both began our working lives as primary school teachers and later studied together at the George Brown Missionary Training College in Sydney. We also both studied to be Lay Preachers. I retired from preaching after fifty years.

I have degrees in education, including School Librarianship, Theology and Psycholinguistics, and Applied Linguistics (ESL and EFL).

Now retired, I enjoy indulging in my hobbies of writing and painting in a variety of media. Oh, yes, I'm also involved in church activities as a Service Leader once a month, playing my flute in the Band, volunteer teaching ESL, and Christian Religious Education at my local primary school. I also enjoy gardening, knitting, embroidery, travel, and love catching up with grandchildren, friends and relative.

Hub Pages is great fun. If you haven't already joined, I recommend it. You can join by clicking here:'

Rcrumple, Richard, all the way from Kentucky, I want to thank you for always entertaining me and making me laugh.. You are very special!

'Over the river and through the woods into the land of Oz.Add a hint of Tabasco Sauce, some onions, denominational religious conflict, political despair, highlighted with a touch of sarcastic humor and you've got the beginnings of where my mind could be on drugs.Eliminate the drugs, and who knows what's in store.

I was one of those kids that used to go to the library on Monday, check out three books, return them on Friday, and get two more for the weekend. The librarian knew me so well that she finally started allowing me to check out books from the adult side of the library when I was in sixth grade because I had run out of things to read on the kids side of the building. Then came high school in the 60's, sports, and political/ racial unrest experiences.Radio broadcasting, military, various business careers intermixed with stand-up comedy, back to business.Music, venomous reptiles, political analysis, and motivational self help publications filled in the free time, not to mention raising a family.

From Rhode Island to Indiana to Europe to the Mid East to New York to Chicago to Alabama and finally Kentucky, my experiences have enhanced my life and broadened my perspectives.Yet, I've always felt the loner even though I've never lacked for friends.

To travel into the realm of writing once again is like coming home. The trance starts and the keys depress, and I enter into a world created either by imagination, life's travels, or experiences past.Yet, before running the 100 yard dash, one must first remember how to take baby steps.Time is on my side, at least for now.

And remember, "You can't do it if you don't attempt it."

***I would like to express my gratitude to those that supported my Hub, "Escape From the Paranormal" in its Hub nugget Award. You are, and have always been more than gracious. Many Thanks***'

Eiddwen, Eddy my friend from Wales, I am still going to go see you one of these days, all of your hubs are written with amazing words and always presented so beautifully.

'I am a mother of six and grandmother of eleven beautiful grandchildren.

My hobbies are writing, reading, photography and exploring the Welsh countryside with my partner Dai.

I will write tributes from time to time in memory of my beautiful sister Val who passed over in 1999 and my daughter Erin who so tragically passed over in 2009 at the young age of 17 years old..

I have set up a trust fund in Erin's name with our only Welsh children's hospice and we have raised almost £4,000.

I am also living my dream by being successful in having two books published and another as we speak.

Published by Publish America is the first in my series of children story book consisting of two mischievous farm kittens getting into so many scrapes and adventures ;

This very first book is called

'Bobby and BIlly;Bobby's Lost Voice!!'

Below is the link to my book which is for sale on Amazon.

Another which has been accepted by Publish America and is currently being published as we speak.called.

'Sunshine Ray and I'.

This is a book of fifty poems in Erin's memory but I would like to add here that the poems are not all sad ;some are humorous;words of a grieving mother;inspiring, beautiful etc.

I hope that someone who is today walking on life's rough roads for any reason will find their much needed strength and solace from this book.

'My Beautiful Rock Rose'.

I have recently also published my very first eBook on Smash words 'Sunshine Ray and I' is fictional but based on true life.

One day out of the blue I decide to research the Native Americans ;mostly the Cherokees so this is what I did!!!

Slowly the deeper I went into their lives ;beliefs and faith I found that I could relate to them from a very deep level.

Below is the link for this book if you would like to read and follow!

I am now busy working on the second book in this series and I love every moment of doing so.

I hope that by sharing my grief and my adjustments so that I am able to cope will in turn help others .

Here is a hub which I wrote a while back and today I republish

As well as writing poetry and all else on here I also write on

"Expectance and acceptance " are two words which describe my adjustments.

I also try to live by ;

The Serenity Prayer.

GinaBina4, Gina my sweet friend all the way from West Tennessee. Your sweet poems are so beautiful. I can see God’s hands all over your poems. Keep up the great work.

'I am a married mother of 4 and grandmother of 1. Currently I am a stay at home mom. I love the Lord and want to serve him as best I can. He is so good to me and merciful. If I have talents,it is because of him. I am about to start looking for a job...EEK. I am new to the hub as far as starting to write. I don't know if I'll be very good at it but we'll see. I may be reading more than writing. Either way it goes,I'm excited! Good to be here!'

Sueswan, Sue, my friend, your poetry are always so Beautiful and profound my friend.

I am from Fort William(now Thunder Bay) Ontario.

I have been living in Toronto since 1976. Hated it at first but now I would not live anywhere else. Well, except for New York City and San Francisco.

Enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I am a big Elvis fan and attend many Elvis Tribute Festivals.

At a cocktail party, I am the wallflower, but if there is music I am the first one on the dance floor. :-)

I am pleased to have recently publish my first book , "Poetry From My Heart."'

Vincent Moore, all the way from Canada, thank you for being a class act indeed, and always brilliant poetry!

'Vincent Moore formerly the Saddlerider pens his thoughts about many things and has a style all his own. Sometimes, he parties with words excessively and it becomes necessary to publish quickly lest his work be lost in the dark corners of his room or his mind. Vincent will lead you into mysterious worlds that are strange yet somehow familiar, worlds that will leave you unsettled and breathless for more.

He was born and raised in Montreal Canada amongst the Irish, Brits, Italians and French. Point St Charles (commonly called The Point) was the Hell's kitchen of Montreal. He played, cried, laughed and fought on the street corners, survival was an instinct and watching each others back important.

He left home at 17 to find his way in the world, failure and success he had plenty of. He studied the Arts and loved to draw and paint. Took acting lessons and envied those on the stage under the bright lights and hoped to some day become an actor, writer, playwright or painter.

He has taken up the pen and found his way to Hub pages, enjoying the many talented writes of fellow hubbers. He hopes to contribute and find a place amongst you.The freedom of expression is important and to a very great extent we can practice it here.

A few months back he was inspired to put together a number of his pieces and publish them in Kindle format at Amazon and Smash words. He will be inserting the links to those books with each future poem he scribes at his account.

As well I will be posting most of my poetry at my blog site below. Please come over for a visit, leave a comment. I will follow you and continue to leave comments in your work here at the Hubs. My Poetry in Motion is a work in progress and it calls out to me to keep adding more.'

billybuc, Bill all the way from Olympia, WA., your hubs just keep getting better, and I want to thank you for being so inspiring.

'Born and raised in Tacoma, Washington, has lived in Washington, Oregon, Vermont and Alaska.

Graduated from Seattle University with degrees in Marketing and Economics and from the University of Puget Sound with a degree in Education. Eighteen years as a classroom teacher and held twenty-five other jobs over the years. Also owned and operated three businesses.

But that is all fluff; window-dressing and unimportant when compared to the real things in life.

One son, Tyler, age 27; single but in a serious relationship that will last a lifetime. A student of life, interested in anything and everything; hobbies include hiking, fishing, exploring, reading, gardening and of course, writing.

Self-published my first novel in October, 2011, and currently working on several other writing projects.

Writing at one time was a hobby; it has since developed into a passion. I try to capture the emotions in life but I have a long way to go; I try to find humor in most situations; some would say I have a long way to go in that as well. I do know that writing, like music and art and photography et al, should move the reader. Good writers actually stun their readers and that is what I hope for. Thank you for following along and may the wind always be at your back.

I will leave you for now with a quote that has meant so much to me over the years...from Tennyson:

"To strive, to seek, to find...and not to yield."

And why, you ask, does that quote mean so much to me? I guess I would say because it says never give up. There are things in life worth going the distance for and if you are lucky enough to find that special thing, special someone, then you damn well better give it every ounce of effort. Life was not meant to be a spectator sport

I have been fortunate. In 2012 I won Hubbie Awards for Most Helpufl Hubber and for The Most Beautiful Hub. Those awards mean a lot to me because they were voted on by my peers. I love Hub Pages!

scrittobene, Maria, all the way from Melbourne Australia, You've captured our hearts with your poetry. Thank you for wonderful hubs.

'"Scrittobene" means, "written well" in Italian. I enjoy writing poetry and song lyrics and am proudly Australian. I mostly like to write about what I know and what I've experienced. Most of my work is loosely based on real events I have lived through and sometimes survived, emotionally, spiritually, physically or mentally.

Many of my friends on FB are Bob Dylan fans like me. I enjoy sharing my passion for Dylan with people around the world mostly from the USA and Europe. I was introduced to Dylan's poetry and music 21 years ago and have listened to his work each and every day since.

This year I have taken an interest in writing song lyrics. I have various musician friends on FB who have graciously offered to put music to my words. You can listen to some of my collaborations on my You Tube Channel. It's all for fun really - I just find it thrilling when music is added to my "poetry":

I run a FB group called "Music & Writing Group". This is a group for all who wish to share their favorite music, post their original compositions and also promote their favorite pieces of writing/poetry from Hub Pages. Please feel free to join me there:

Thanks for stopping by and/or following me.

writer20; Joyce, all the way from Southern Nevada. What awesome and wonderful hubs. I always enjoy them. Thank you

'I have made many friends on hub pages and love to read their hubs and learn. I have found inspiration in some of them that prompted me to write.

I started writing about 6 years ago putting my feelings on paper which allowed me to vent my pent-up anger.

I then wrote two detective stories which were edited and shelved.

I also write children’s stories mostly about cats and dogs, there are other stories about birds, ducks and other animals all talking like you and I.

The good news is two of my children’s stories are with an online-publisher.

I also try my hand at writing short poems when I get something to inspire me.

When I read I like James Patterson and Frances Mayes.'

'I was born in Arkansas, raised in Alaska, and living in the Badlands.

My interests include: writing, photography, gardening, horses, travel, reading, cooking, and baking.

My favorite genres are science fiction and fantasy, but occasionally, I can be found reading paranormal (vampire and werewolf) and gardening - I know, a heck of a combination, huh? I wonder if there's a werewolf

My bucket list includes: visit the last 14 US states I haven't been to yet, visit Europe, finish my 4 novels that are in different stages of "almost done," get my 5 year old non-communicative autistic son to talk, teach my husband to pick up his dirty socks, learn to knit, win the lottery, buy a horse ranch, and sail from California to Alaska.

Odd facts about me: I like salt on bananas, my best friend (other than my husband) is a llama, I love to write - have no problem getting started but seem to run into a wall shortly after starting, and I hate to wear shoes.'

It gives me such a great smile to write this: CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR 200TH HUB!!! and as I raise my glass to 200 more!

I am truly humbled for being a part of such awesome and dear souls. I want to thank you for being one of the first people to welcome me to Hub pages. You have always been there to offer your encouragement and support. I only hope you realize how much it means to me as well as countless others.

More importantly are the wonderful poems and masterpieces from you that have occupied my mind. It is in these moments when my mind is finally at rest from those "enemies at the gate", allowing me to focus my thoughts on the beautiful words you weave from such an endless imagination and soaring spirit.

Thank you for lifting me up on days when you never even knew you did. Thank you for drying a tear on my cheek before it had a chance to fall and thank you so much for being such a wonderful friend.

Sending Irish love your way always,
