My 30 hubs in 30 days challenge, by Amber
I’m making the commitment. 30 hubs in 30 days. I’m still relatively new to hub pages and I feel like I need a boost to get myself motivated and committed to really giving hubpages a go. In six months I have $2.64 in my adsense account and 14 hubs under my belt. I’m losing steam so I figured I’ll really give this challenge my all and see where it takes me. I have read so many other hubs about this challenge and the generally very nice results so I feel somewhat encouraged.
I have a plan that hopefully will make this a fairly painless process. I have a spread sheet with a list of hubs I want to compose all in checklist form. I picked from a variety of ideas so that I would give myself the best chance at attracting a wide variety of readers. I also want to sign up for amazon soon. I will also shoot for at least 600 words per hub and try to get some more pictures in my hubs for interest. I generally have a handicap when it comes to networking sites, that is; I hate them. So I’ll have to put in some effort on overcoming my networking phobias, sigh…
My one real problem is that it’s finals week right now! So I’ll lose a few days of hubs because I absolutely cannot be distracted this week. But I wanted to post this announcement anyway, because I’m hoping it will give me a firmer will when it comes to getting this challenge done. Hopefully having a plan will make everything flow smooth and easy.
Right now I get about 20 views a day average. I have in total 925 views over my six months so far. I’d like to see an increase of at least 100 views a day by the end of this so cross your fingers! Of course my secret ambition is to finish 30 hubs in a week or so instead of 30 days, but that remains to be seen. If I’m super motivated I’ll get 30 hubs done before Christmas, and it would be awesome if I could get 50 hubs done before January 5th because that’s when term starts next year.
To start off this challenge right I got my first hub published already! I will post a list of my challenge hubs as they are published on this page and at the end of my challenge I will post a separate hub as a summary of my progress (or lack thereof). To tell the truth this challenge makes me very nervous! I just hope I can make enough good quality hubs that I can get the results I want. It would be nice to get to my first payment mark in the next year, or maybe sooner.
If anybody has any tips that could help make my challenge a success please comment on this hub!
Well I don't know if it's obvious or not but I have failed at my 30 day challenge. It was because I took on a crazy hard load of classes this term. The good news is that I'm working hard and can already name every bone and joint in the body and almost every bump and curve on those bones :) My anatomy class is consuming my live now so please look forward to my new challenge that will start in May. It will be a 30 hubs in one week challenge!
