1. Relaxing your breathing rhythm- Learnt this technique long ago when I was in college. I used during semester exams when I got a bit nervous. I used it in my public speeches as the President of Student Representative Council in the university I attended. I still use it today in job as a manager and now as a write with hub pages. When I feel I am bit nervous, I take in slow deep breaths in and feel the air filling mu lung and when I let go (empty my lung) and consciously tell my mind “relax”. I repeat this for a couple of minutes and before I realize, I am already relaxed and ready to take my exam, address a huge crowd or write my next hub.
2. Using Laughter-Where I worked, I know friends who can make glue huge smile on my face even when the day seems dull. I have videos of Ausy funniest shows and Mr. Bin. Lolz. Mr. Bin is the hottest dude I know of living on this planet. He deserved to be voted the sexiest man alive on earth. I love to watch these hilarious shows as they make me laugh when I feel my work tension building up.
3. Make lunch break a real break
Don’t carry your suitcase full of hubs into your lunch break. This can be annoying to others and it doesn’t help you in your quest to really relax and rejuvenate. Whatever you do either eating, drinking or going for a walk, concentrate on that and not your work or hubs.
4. Make best use of those waiting moments – say you are waiting for your boss to arrive after 20 minutes or waiting for the elevator, why not try step 1 (deep breathing).
