Time is definitely an important management managerial assert available to be used in career, business or personal life. It is a precious resource to be used constructively to achieve goals, or just wasted, never to be replenished again.

Do you ever come across typical remarks like “It was such a busy day”; “I think coming to office on Sunday is a must to complete my work” “I spent much of the day attending meeting” or quit specifically in hub page where you hear comments like “I am a stay at home mum and juggle with kids and hubbing” “This hubbing thing is taking up most of my time” “I am addicted to hubbing”. All too familiar remarks aren't they?

Why do these frustrating experiences simmer every now and then? What exactly is time management? Without confusing ourselves with dictionary definition, time management means managing your time well so that you get the most out of your day. This definition could well fit in well without us in the hub pages community. To include the wider audience we take a more analytical definition by defining time management as the process of examining the utilization of time, identifying the principle time users and time wasters and developing new personal and managerial habits.

So let me ask you this simple but often neglected question "How do you go about managing your time? Your answer wouldn't be same as mine but the idea is to get to understand how you manage your time daily in hub pages. Now please don't get me wrong. Why? I don't claim to be the greatest and most successful time manager in the hub pages community. Absolutely not! Then you may ask me, Why do you write this hub?. I wrote this hub simply from the things I have learnt from my short stint with hub pages. I am not an hub elite, well getting there some time soon but in terms of earnings and followers in hub pages, I personally say I have tasted success already in hub pages and its so sweet that I don't wanna let go that easy. Effective time management is great tool I used in my career as a divisional manager in an oil palm plantation I manage and as a writer here in hub pages.

Without further delay lets go straight into some useful solutions you can use to manage your time in hub pages whilst looking forward to achieving success. Listed below are the

Solutions

1. Learn to say no to unnecessary interruptions

You have to seriously identify what interruptions are unnecessary. Not all interruptions are unnecessary but definitely some are. You will know what they are. Identify them and honestly deal with it. its better to face it then to let it stay and eat away your precious time daily.

2. Set appropriate daily objectives

See I use the term "appropriate" so you will know that the type of objective you set must suit your daily activities and those that you frequently interact with. Take them into account when devising your daily monthly or yearly objectives

3. Delegate tasks

This can be very useful if you have a supportive partner who cares enough to assist you in typing some of your scripts. It works just fine with me and I am sure it can work for you. Just give a try before you give up.

4. Take one task at a time

You are just a human being. You ain't a robot. If you try to do every thing at once, you will have less attention for each task and so the the quality of that task will be compromised. In a way you waste your time by not getting quality results. For instance, a hub that commands greater traffic is one you spend quality time writing and marketing it.

5. Prioritize your tasks

List your daily in order of importance or priority. Attend to those that you consider as having high priority. Stick to your priority list.

That all being said, there is another facet of time management comes into view. The fine art of relaxation for rejuvenation. Like machines that go for repair due to wear and tear, human body also needs time to rejuvenate.

In my desires to as much as possible provide complete information to my readers. So here I have listed few tips any one can follow to relax for rejuvenation. These are very simple techniques but if used correctly can have far greater impact in your life.

Fine Art Of Relaxation for Rejuvenation

1.
Relaxing your breathing rhythm- Learnt this technique long ago when I was in college. I used during semester exams when I got a bit nervous. I used it in my public speeches as the President of Student Representative Council in the university I attended. I still use it today in job as a manager and now as a write with hub pages. When I feel I am bit nervous, I take in slow deep breaths in and feel the air filling mu lung and when I let go (empty my lung) and consciously tell my mind “relax”. I repeat this for a couple of minutes and before I realize, I am already relaxed and ready to take my exam, address a huge crowd or write my next hub.

2. Using Laughter-Where I worked, I know friends who can make glue huge smile on my face even when the day seems dull. I have videos of Ausy funniest shows and Mr. Bin. Lolz. Mr. Bin is the hottest dude I know of living on this planet. He deserved to be voted the sexiest man alive on earth. I love to watch these hilarious shows as they make me laugh when I feel my work tension building up.

3. Make lunch break a real break

Don’t carry your suitcase full of hubs into your lunch break. This can be annoying to others and it doesn’t help you in your quest to really relax and rejuvenate. Whatever you do either eating, drinking or going for a walk, concentrate on that and not your work or hubs.

4. Make best use of those waiting moments – say you are waiting for your boss to arrive after 20 minutes or waiting for the elevator, why not try step 1 (deep breathing).

How can you evaluate your performance?

While there is no blue print for success in time management, an evaluation of performance can be done. How? Just a up-to-date diary can help you plan your objectives and contingencies.

The most important thing is to ensure accurate recording of your day’s events in your time log. This can pay rich dividends by helping you your review and reorganize your schedules.

Brief Summary

Managing time well enables you to be in control of your life; it allows you to act on situations rather than react to situations. When reacting to situations you are ill-prepared and under stress so your action is far from your optimum capacity. Whereas, when you act on situations it is well planned and thus allows you to function at your highest.

At the heart of time management is an important shift in focus: Concentrate on results, not on being busy. This is a one of the most important time management skills. Many people spend their days in a frenzy of activity, but achieve very little because they are not concentrating on the right things

Effecting time management habits can help us achieve our goals and help us reduce conflicts, stress, tension and lead a more balanced lives. To finished, I urge you to remember this lines by an anonymous Philosopher

Today is a promissory note,

Today is a ready cash-Use it”

This is a great hub Ian. There are days that I am focused, but other times when I really waste a lot of time. I appreciate the tips not only on how to use time productively, but also take the time to rejuvenate and relax. I often try to write while I am eating breakfast or lunch, and I really do need to use that time to recharge.
