The art of Super Hubbing - How some hubbers stand out more then others

Updated on October 5, 2014

From normal people to Superhero writers online

"Extra Extra Read all about it", A famous quote used for them old marvel comic's writers, and boy were they some super creative writers.

This article is all about becoming a great article writer on hubpages, and I'm also writing about how to discover for yourself what I call, and coined the title of "Super Hubbing" in a hub a while back. (Some dude or dudette made a hub profile like 5 years back known as Super Hubber, oh well, at least this one up above wasn't used yet Haha!!!)

These individuals are those people who go far above and beyond the call of being a online writer today, and they seem to dig much deeper into the core of the hubpages system here, judging by all the accolades they've amounted over time. They join hubpages for whatever reason it may be, whether it's different from all the obvious reasons of potentially earning 100's of 1000's of digital bucks!

I sense many hubbers here seek to receive viewers in the 1000's, and even 1,000,000's. I myself have yet to see the 100,000 views mark, but I aim for the millions as well, and so learning to become a super hubber is a start.

Hubbing today is intense

Writing a single article today is something that every writer on the web, also known as the freelance writer (Paid writers), are familiar with. If you're into writing for fun, as a hobby, or just because your looking to get your words out, and possibly get known, well hubpages is definitely the place to make it happen today.

Many hubbers here write for a great deal of reasons, and produce articles in so many subjects its almost impossible to write a article for each one available here, but who knows, someone must have done it before.

I met folks here who write poems, inspirational stories, self help articles, hubs about love, life, technology hubs, funny comedic words that have you laughing so hard, you might just pee on yourself. Josh3418 (Limerick Master), TToombs08 (Amazingly funny writer), Mark Ewbie (Stick figure King), Epigramman (Funny Poet) are among the top super comedic hubbers here on hubpages.

There's loads of professional writers on hubpages as well as amateurs, many of them who come from all walks of life, and those who know a great deal of needed information generally become the best writers here. Many of the pro's here are experienced in real world careers, so its no wonder why their articles eventually appear as the most professional looking, and written with accuracy, and superlative detail, authors like Missolive (She's an Educator), Alocsin (Playwriter, Director & Actor), and Rajan Jolly (Botanist & Chemist) are just some examples of what I call super hubbers.

Some folks literally smash through walls when they write with such intensity

Meeting people digitally on hubpages is almost immediate as you sign up, and immediately after you run off into hubville here, to try your luck at writing your very first article (It happened to me just 1 year ago & I met many folks on my very first day on hubpages). Some new hubbers may come from the blogging community outside of hubpages, and for them it seems like a dream to finally make it, and arrive at a online platform that has the potential to fully embrace their already mastered craft, but for some of them this transition isn't quite what they once perceived it to be, or thought that it was going to become for them. Many come and go, some learn the ropes here and give hubpages their all, with digital blood sweat and tear drops onto their keyboards.

One things for certain is that if you made it here to hubpages, you will learn something, even if you choose not to write at all, which I meet many hubbers who haven't even wrote a hub yet. This does puzzle me at times, because I love to challenge myself to writing, and if you took a look at my profile here, you will know the direction I'm headed towards as a writer here on hubpages.

Now as for super hubbers that write some pretty prolific technical hubs that stand out in so many ways, well there is one dude in particular who goes far beyond the norm, his screen name is Lord De Cross here on hubpages, 'oh lord' does he know how to lure the crowd on hubpages & beyond. What's more significant about this digital tough guy is, he helps people fight online crimes committed by some pretty harmful copyright infringing super villains as I do, and he's also a freedom fighter as well who joined forces with Billybuc & myself to put a stop to evil today once and for all, and in the real world using our almighty powerful words, as if we were part of the Avengers team by Marvel, if there was one more of us we would be like the Fantastic Four.

Cool hub reading material

My brother loved comic's as a kid, I just liked to draw them

Becoming a super hubber means one thing though, you must write in such a way that the web will respond, and when I say the web, I mean for those of the Billions of viewers whom are searching on the web day and night for juicy relevant info, and from all around the globe, many in distress at times with high hopes, to not be victimized again by low quality articles.

Your articles must be of such top notch quality, that they will not only choose to remain or return to the 100's or even 1000's of web pages you crank out, they will also choose to share those gorgeous useful, or exciting high quality hubs of yours with the rest of the online world, and this is something that isn't an easy task to do. Just think as if you were a cartoonist trying to sketch out some superhero characters, I done so when I was a young boy trying to imitate cool famous dude's like Stan Lee, (American Comic Book Writer: who collaborated efforts with some pretty amazing artists to create Marvel's superhero characters) and it helps to have such creative writing talent & artistic talent, but with writing on the web you also need tooling to make it all happen more effectively from your creative side of yourself, bursting outwards.

Being a mega brain like X-men's Professor X also known as 'Xavier', helps also, and so smarts plays a huge role in the art of super hubbing.

Super hubbing links & Tips

Research skills, knowledge of how the hubpages system works, social networking skills, positioning of hub content, implementation of resourceful hub link's (Read up on Hubkarma), use of keywords, and so much more underneath the digital sun all help hubbers, to reach closer to super hubber status.

I'm more like the Incredibles on hubpages, aren't you?

How to become a Super Hubbing Fool!

This takes true dedication, motivation, knowledge of how the web works, and the strength of the hubpages community to back your efforts up. The question remains, how does a regular person do such a thing as to learn to become a super hubbing virtual machine.

Well, with the right digital stuff you can become a super hubber too, which means by understanding of how to write with a flare of good grammar, learning to communicate efforts (Insightful commenting) effectively with others & fairly (Using them sharing buttons, voting, flagging inappropriate content, not only leaving fan mail & following hubbers aimlessly, but also reading many hubs), and knowing how to share as though you have no conscious as to whom your sharing such content for, (Meaning: becoming a hubber that's indiscriminate of a persons hubpages profile image itself, but more of the quality of their writing & how they communicate with you) besides the very fact that its great quality articles you've just read.

Then adding all the knowledge needed to get them search engines prepared to launch your hubs into cyber space (SEO, keywords, and all). Oh there's other things, like a hubpages form of SEO as well, that people tend not to pay any attention to, and may somewhat learn very late in the hubbing game about it all.

This is something that few hubbers know of, but it is highly important to learn, hubkarma, making your hubs into fully functional hubpages resources (for new hubbers), and most recently the hub hopper special, which means if your hub doesn't satisfy the grueling conditions of that infamous new hub hopper, well it may have a terrible time of getting traffic, since Google made hubpages evolve somewhat and adhere to such higher standards, and to help us all to boost our online writers abilities overall.

Don't forget to use the hubpages learning center to truly learn of all the super hubbing power tools we have here, and loads more tips, and cool information to adhere to as a hubber.

I like to think of myself as the web slinger himself - Mr. Spidey!

Great article, even though a few things are a little dated or defunct now, like share buttons and hub hopper. I'm not sure all the people you mention are still here either, Mike, though I know some are like billybuc.

I think I read in a forum that you are leaving HubPages or at least stopping to write here. In that case, I am late with this being the first of your hubs I have read. Take care.

I just hope that come day i can be crowned as one, LOL, even though I created the super hubbing concept here doesn't mean I cant just jump myself to the top you know.

I need to earn my way up the super hubbing chain of command as well, and I will make sure to be very responsible, as well as responsive to those that will potentially look up to me some day if and when I ever make it to such a high potential.

Am far from being crowned as a super hubber, i have a lot to learn. However, i do like hubpages very much. It has this amazing and great writers that are really talented. I agree with some mention up there. While i was reading this article i kept asking myself who can i mention as super hubber, my mindful list was long but i was not disappointed to see Lord De Cross and Billybuc being on your mention too. Voted up.

@Lord De Cross, bro we all have some quite profound imaginations, I guess that's what makes us all hub writers, but the funny thing is before discovering hubpages, many of us been writers, but many without a platform to get heard, to get shared globally.

So I feel the call to duty, and the call to action each time (As Bill States on FB) when one of us sends out a beacon of distress (Copyright infringments against fellow hubbers), a need for assistance, and call to digital arms as super hubbers who can unite against any enemies foreign or domestic through social networking powers, while floating on cloud 9, and using our telekinesis to break down walls of all dextrous materials our enemies and them criminals put up for take down.

No matter what anyone thinks when its all said and done, we are becoming the new Justice League of great hubbers today, because on the ground nothing right is being done it seems, and so new world leaders need to be forged, and from the place of a writers voice we shall over come some day.

Thank's Lord. for your ultra kind analysis and words of my authenticated terminology I scribed here LOL, I have absorbed the blue pill that you put down, and regurgitation has just been initiated :)

Well my secret the writing so intensely here on hubpages isn't dealing with some old blog website I owned, and currently tearing it down article after article. Mine primarily deals with the fact that I work from home, I own a web design business, and so I make my own schedule, and chose hubbing as one of my primary functions.

I have no clue how everyone else does it RC, but I would guess many other folks chose freelance writing as a full time job as well, but who knows right!

The truth to the matter is that hubbing, and networking consumes huge amounts of time, and sometimes my eyes feels like its going to bleed, once I go past the 12 hours mark. So, yup this whole trying to become a super hubber is damn near impossible, but I try my best to keep up with them infamous Super hubbers either way. Haha!!!!

Thanks for your awesome comment RC, your insight was truly awesome.

It's definitely a balance beam of sorts, and not everyone can do it all neither.

@poshcoffeeco, I feel your pain Posh, its tough to get these search engines to respond to our hubbing efforts at times, but fellow hubbers will definitely make all the difference in the end, because of the potential that social sharing has today.

I think if we all help one another some way or another, as time elapses we all will seek to benefit in a huge way, and some of us have more time then others to do so, which is why super hubbing isn't quite possible for everyone.

I think all in all if you do your best as a hubber here you will be one in your own right, and I personally think views and stats have nothing to do at all with super hubbing, it has everything to do with the hubpages community though.

So if you have been doing your part to help others here, by reading hubs, commenting, and sharing besides writing the best articles you can possibly crank out then, yes you are a super hubber already in my digital E-book.

Following the right folks counts for more then half of my intense hubbing here as well, because they lead me to the best hubpages content written by fellow hubbers to be shared with the rest of the globe of viewers (I track their shares via the hubpages feed daily & nightly, and follow many of their suggested good reads, it works wonders too for finding awesome hubs to share), and on all of my professional networks as well as personal ones I utilize today.

Thanks bro for being so honest, but I believe your already a super hubber bro :) High stats or not.

Great Hub, as always! I've got to be honest, I don't know how you guys do it. By the time I write & publish, go to all I follow (or follow me) and make good comments on their new hubs, try to find new hubbers and help them, and answer comments in my own hubs and 200+ emails per day, it's time to start a new day! Sharing is something I do when the Facebook tab is present, but going back & forth between hubs and Facebook to share takes a tremendous amount of time. @Julie DeNeen, thanks so very much for the compliment, but I'm trying my best to be one, and I know they truly exist out here in this awesome hubpages community for sure.

I mapped all of my hubpages performances here off of most of their superhubbing activities, by simply watching the accolades they achieved and all, lets hope I reach such a super status someday soon.

Hey there @writer20, I try my best to be a superhero on the web today, and I quit web slinging actually to become a online writer on hubpages, but I have taken a break lately here to try and embark on my web slinging efforts once again as a web developer Hehe.

So yeah your right in way Writer, the other is by trying to defend the rights of others here on hubpages, and beyond whenever they are infringed upon, and or things go wrong in true reality, such as hearing of bad news from criminals who create such mess.

Me, Bill, and Lord De Cross put in our best efforts to fight evils of this world using our hub writing efforts, and so yup we have been fighting for justice for all, as well.

Thanks for your cool comment, its inspired me to keep doing what I'm doing today on hubpages and beyond, and I will not stop until the world changes for the better, just as my good friend Billybuc feels as well.

Thanks brother Bill, we both do our very best to make efforts for everyone, and not just for fellow hubbers, as I just wrote into this hub as a update.

I had to write this hub, and get such a series going here on hubpages, the world needs to know what wen't on since we both became hubbers, interacted with folks here, and all the great hubbers who've been here super hubbing long before we existed on this awesome writers network.

This is my way of saying thanks to hubpages as well, and to that of this super cool community, of hub loving people worldwide.

Thanks bro for showing up, and yup Cindy beat you to the punch LOL.

Thanks for this great article. I am currently struggling with my HP experience. You see over the months I put everything into the site cranking out the articles and participating around the place. My page views always increase at a slow pace and make the same amount of money month in month out. I stopped writing for the last couple of months and my HP earnings have not altered. It seems the more I do makes no diffference to views of earnings. I reckon that I may have to learn to become a Super Hubber before I can get better results for my efforts.

      What do you think?

@homesteadbound, Thanks Cindy we all try our best to make efforts for one another, and in differing ways, and to tell you the truth there's far to many hubbers here that fit this criterion for sure, including yourself as well.

Those who've impacted me the most however will definitely get the honorable mention all throughout my hub writing process for sure, I guess that's how it is for every one of us dedicated hubbers here, who enjoy following certain key game players on the hubpages chess board sort of speak (The awesome Hubpages community & Super Hubbing hierarchy = 95 to 100 hubber score holders who all maintain super high stats & balance).

Mike you're right that these are super hubbers - Alocsin's output just astonishes me: I wish I could write half as fast! And I agree with you that BillyBuc is super supportive AND I think you could claim that title too. You do a huge lot of the community of writers and are always so encouraging. That's a great way to be.

Interesting article. I love the metaphor.. or is it an analogy? I forget. Whatever it is I love it. Spiderman was always a favorite of mine as well. The character just seemed to click with me more than others. Most of the writers you've mentioned I've run across before and have been genuinely impressed with their writing. Voting up and sharing.

You are indeed a web-slinger Mike, and a super hubber of the highest order. You love to help to support people (thanks for the link) and on top of it all, you write great hubs that are provocative and informational.

I am honored to call you a friend, but you are more than that, aren't you are my east coast brother from another mother!

Saluting you from the west coast
