Since the lockdown was announced in Gauteng, South Africa, Scientology Volunteer Ministers have sanitized the equivalent of 658 football fields to protect the citizens of South Africa – all financed from their own pockets.

The Scientology Volunteer Ministers have registered themselves as essential services right from the start of the lockdown so they could assist. Assist they did. They have gone out of their way to sanitize nearly 3.5 million square meters in Gauteng alone, which represents 658 football fields – the size of the FNB Stadium 658 times. All since 14 March 2020 – less than 2 months ago.

They sanitized 3693 buildings, from one-floor shelters to 20-storey government buildings with hundreds of offices, and everything in between. Added to that, they have also sanitized 16,868 essential services vehicles, from police cars, ambulances, fire trucks and more than 10,000 taxis, efficiently protecting millions.

“We do care for our country,” said Sandile Hlayisi, Public Affairs Director for the Scientology Volunteer Ministers. “This proves it, although it is really just a token of what we can do. Since we heard the President speech announcing the lockdown, there was no doubt in our mind we would assist. And this is what we have been up to seven days a week, twelve hours a day, ever since,” added Hlayisi, insisting that they are carrying on.

L. Ron Hubbard, who created the Scientology Volunteer Minister Program more than 50 years ago wrote:

“By their actions you shall know them, whether bad or good, whether on another’s side or ours.”

“…And what in their actions gives us the keenest insight? Their ability to help.”

“…The good can help. The bad will not or, if they do, they ‘help’ only to betray.”

“…This is the test that you can use to separate the good from the bad and then

Clear-eyed, begin to make a world in which all life can live” – L. Ron Hubbard.

“We are proud to be true to his teachings,” added Hlayisi.
