Asking for help might be the best thing you need.

Feeling bad

I am sad. I feel like crying. I feel like throwing myself on the ground and shout as loud as I can.

Have you ever felt this way? Like everything is going wrong, like nothing isn't as it was supposed to be, like you have no purpose?

Maybe you lost your job, or maybe your marriage failed, or your family went through something awful, losing someone that you love ... or ... you just feel sad. No reason whatsoever. Just sadness.

I think this is the worst, because, if you know what the problem is, you can do something to fix it, or at least try to fix it, but if you don't know why you feel this way, what can you do?

I am sure that every person went through at least one of these incidents at some point in their lives (losing their job, someone they love, and so on ...). And I believe that there are a few steps that should be followed, in order to heal your heart, and stop the sadness.

Deal With It Step By Step

First of all, I think that we should admit there is a problem. Either we know what it is, or not, our sadness has a reason. Admit that something in your life is not going as you wish and this is why you feel this way.

You will need all the help you can get, so tell your friends and family that you are going through something, that you have this feelings, and ask them to understand and excuse you if you are a bit more snappy than usually. Just be careful to don't overdo it. Don't use this as a reason and end up being really mean to them. They will understand and support you, but only if you don't overdo it, because they have problems too, you are not the only one.

Go out in the world, get your friends and have a fun day out. You need people around you to get you back on track. You need to do things that make you happy. So go out, or read a book, watch a movie, take a walk in the park, take some classes you've always wanted to take, do what ever makes you happy but get out of the house and have people around you. Take time for yourself and have fun even if you won't feel like you are having fun in the beginning, you will once you will let yourself give it a chance.

Cry. If you feel the need to cry than do it. It will make you feel 1 000 times much better and lighter, like a weight has been taken off your shoulders.

Time To Get Better

You felt sorry for yourself, you took some time, you broke down and cried, now is time to get back on the horse. You have to move on. You can't cry and feel sorry for yourself for the rest of your life. You have to get up, and start fighting to get your life back on track.

You need to cry and have a few days in which you have no energy, no will to do anything and just feel bad. These days will help you release yourself from the pressure that built up inside your heart. But you know that you can't spend the rest of your life feeling like this because you might wake up some day and see that life passed you by.

If you feel like you can't fight the sadness and fix that problem on your own, get some help. It's not a shame to ask for help. Seeing how many people will be there for you will make your heart heal faster.

Sometimes you need the help of a professional and you should take it. People seem so scared to see a professional doctor when in fact this is the best thing anyone can do. Sometimes a simple sadness can be the beginning of a depression if is not treated, and a depression is far worst than feeling sad. When you are depressed a chemical unbalance produces in your brain so you need someone who knows and understand the process and the repercussions in order to give you the treatment that you need, medicine or just therapy sessions.

Ask for professional help if this is what you need.

YOU can change your life

Heal Yourself

The basic line is that you have to let yourself break down, in order to heal your wounds and get up stronger.

Remember that you can help yourself through your decisions. Either you choose to fight this on your own or ask for help, it doesn't matter, all that matter is for you to get better. You can change what is not working in your life. You are the only one who can make your life exactly as you wish it to be. And if you find yourself not being able to change what makes you sad, then learn how to live with it, otherwise this feeling of sadness will destroy you.

I have tried for so long to fix everything that was wrong in my life and when I couldn't it was driving me crazy. Now I know that some things need to be taken as they are, so if I can't change them I accept this and stop fighting. This takes time to get used to, but remember that you can't change everything and that is OK. Not everything needs to be perfect.

I hope that this words helped you. These are my opinions, and this is what I do when I feel down, and sad, and feel like the whole world is against me. In the end, all that matters is you.

Just remember that you can do it, you can get through this just like you've gone through all the other things that life threw at you. And it's OK if life isn't always perfect.

YOU can do it.
