Using StumbleUpon to Gain Additional Traffic for Your Hubs

Updated on January 5, 2015

Need More Traffic?

There are dozens of ways to bring more traffic to hubs, but using StumbleUpon has had instant results for me that were much better than I expected. Signing up for an account with StumbleUpon is really easy, free and takes only a minute or so.

Once you're signed up, hover over the little arrow next to your profile thumbnail. A white bar with options will appear and one will be the " Add a Page" option.

Add Your Hubs!

Adding your hubs to StumbleUpon is really easy. Just copy the URL of the hub you want to add, choose your topic, enter in keywords that people might use to find your hub, and click Add This Page! That's it! Now repeat this for all your hubs and watch your traffic increase!

It was only a matter of hours before I started seeing traffic from StumbleUpon after adding only three of my hubs.

It seems to me that you'll only get a small boost initially when you add the page, but not much after that. I use it when I'm in a slump with traffic.

I'm not sure how much traffic I get from stumble, but every bit helps! Besides my own, I also add other pages I find interesting from a range of sources, so that I'm not seen as a spammer.

I haven't reached a limit yet, but I've only linked about 10 of my hubs so far. I'll keep going until I hit a limit if there is one and update this post.

Are there any restrictions by stumbleupon as to how many hub links we can feed in? I think that they ended up moderating or banning squidoo...
