What Is Passion and Where Does It Come From?

Updated on January 31, 2019

What is Passion and where does it come from?

Is passion limitless? It is limitless because passion is whatever anyone wants it to be. The question is what is Passion in the literal sense? people say that passion is a love for something when they hear about it at least that is my view of it. If you love something you are passionate about it, isn’t that how it goes? There are many different definitions of the word passion because it can mean many different things. The definition of passion is- strong and barely controllable emotion.

A passion for something can come from anything and anywhere, for example, a passion for the outdoors can mean hiking a lot, bird watching, working with trees or plants, or even farming. I think passion is how you perceive, something. The real question is though where does it come from? Doing something you love and through whatever it is you are doing shows that you love it, whether it be through time and effort, with a smile on your face things like that.

Passion is different for everyone, where they find it what it is and how they portray it is all different because everyone is different. For example, people might laugh and smile when they are passionate. Some people might work hard and show their work to others while, others and quiet and show their passion only when necessary. It depends on what it is, the person and how they want to portray their passion. Passion comes from deep inside one's being and is shown to the world how the person sees fit.

Everyone is different, so there passions will be too. We all look at the world differently so that is why. Passion can come from anywhere, really but most of the time it comes from deep inside a person. Passion can be found if you fight for something that you want. If you are passionate about something then fight for it, Passion comes from fighting for what you want when you want it. It doesn’t matter what your passion is but that is where it comes from.

Passion is whatever people, think it is. It is whatever people want it to be because all passions are different which means, people are different and that is a good thing. Passion comes from within and it comes from believing in anything and working for it. An example of Passion is being passionate about music, dance or writing. A better example of this is, I am passionate about writing I have been writing since the age of six novels, and newspaper articles, or what I thought was a newspaper, article at that age. Now I am passionate about writing and blogging. The way people are passionate is doing what they love all the time. For my writing and blogging, in order for it to be a passion, I write all the time, blogs and newspaper articles. For the most part. I am always writing constantly and I read constantly too, so in a way, I am passionate about writing and reading. This is because I was told that I wasn’t good at it, see my limit vs no limit blog post. That is where my passion is and that is what I am doing now. If you are passionate about something do it, and see where it goes. If you follow your passions you will be happier and you will love your life more than if you don’t do what you are passionate about.

That is what Passion is to me. Always remember though that passion can come from anywhere, at any time you just have to be willing to look and wait for it to strike and when it does run with it. Never give your passion up, that is one thing that defines, you. Passion is limitless because it can come from anywhere and it can be anything that you want it to be, in terms of what you can be passionate about. Passion and being passionate are sort of the same thing, but one is a feeling and one is just what something can be. At least that is my opinion on what passion is and what passionate means.

Do What you want with Passion
Do What you want with Passion

Passion Is

Passion can come from anything that someone likes or wants to do, if they like something or they really want to do something that means they are passionate about it When people are passionate about something they will work for it limitlessly in order to get to where they want in life. Passion is brought on by limitless work at whatever it is you want in life, Passion comes from within you and hard work. is what makes it come out in your everyday life. That is how it comes out in my everyday life at least. that is how I feel.

Everyone is passionate about something, and that is the one thing or multiple things that they go after in their lives to make their lives worth it for that person. For example, I am passionate about writing so I will do it limitlessly until I get to where I want to be with it, no matter how long it takes. That is what most people do if they are passionate about things, they will go after them until they have them the way they want them.

Passion is loving something so much that you go after it with all your might and see where it leads you. It is giving something you are all, in limitless amounts. It comes from the heart and your brain if you believe that you can do it then you will be able to do it. Passion and where it comes from is something limitless that we don't even notice is limitless because if we are passionate about something it comes easy and our brains and bodies make it something fun that we do. If something is fun and easy it doesn't seem like work and it feels limitless because of how fun it is.

An example of passion is I am passionate about blogging where it comes from is my soul because I have always enjoyed writing and if I can put my passion into a blog form then that is what I am going to do. That is what I am doing right now while writing this post.

Passion, Purpose and Profession go hand and hand
Passion, Purpose and Profession go hand and hand

Passion and anything go hand and hand

Do what you want with passion. When you do that your passion will show through it and make your life even better than it was before. If you are passionate about something you are going to give it you're all. That is what passion is.

What do you think Passion is and where do you think it comes from?

I like your synopsis of passion. How novel, to be absolutely passionate about having passion. Many only think of passion as a romantic drive, or emotion. I sometimes get spontaneity mixed up with following a passion, for many things I do are spontaneous. Perhaps they are driven by an underlying passion, or perhaps they identify my passions in life. In any case, thanks for the description and thoughts on the subject. Well written!

Thanks I have been writing since I was little and have been trying to live with no limitations as well which in turn brings passion through anything I have tried doing

In deed, everyone needs a passion in their life. Some of us need many. I don't know about you, but I tend to get side tracked from one passion to another. I like to write and never gave up on that passion. I also have many more and I often wonder if I'm following the right one. Good hub.

Ditto to Denise's comment. Self-control is needed to tamper passion in most instances.

That said, you're right that our passion defines us; and life would be monotonous with it.

Passion can be both a blessing and a curse! When we are passionate about something, we enjoy what we are doing and want to keep doing it. Sometimes our passion can get us into trouble, though. If we are passionate to the point that we annoy others in the process, it can become a problem!

Passion is an emotion that we usually think of as being particularly strong, either good or bad, love or hate, pain or joy. The word reminds me of the Passion of Christ - it covers the pain of dying on the cross, but also the reason He allowed it to happen, the love he has for humans.
