What's The Best Way To Make Money On HubPages?

Updated on September 26, 2011
You can do it!
You can do it!

There is more than one way but this is what works for me.

I consider HubPages to be a blessing. What I mean by this is the fact that I have been searching for a nice, steady, and passive residual income source that was fairly easy and I have found it.

I have never considered myself as being a great writer but what I did have was great thoughts and ideas. I always enjoyed writing but I have always been too critical on myself to finish what I started. HubPages has helped me get away from that. Everybody wont agree or appreciate what you write but that isn't your problem as long as you enjoy your subject matter.

So how do I know what's the best way to make money on HubPages?

Well, I was going to get to that but apparently you readers don't have much patience! Just kidding, but seriously, you have to understand that you must have patience and you absolutely can't get discouraged if you don't make $50-$100 by week 1. In most cases it will take longer than that for sure. The best way to make money on Hubpages will have to start with you writing about subjects that truly interest you as this should be the easiest route for most writers. You should start off by at least writing one hub (article) a day. If you can do more, then write more. Remember, more Hubs equals more cash.

Enough already, I want to make money NOW! CLICK HERE to get started.

I know for a fact that writing a total of 100 plus hubs will have you on the right track but I prefer to make the most out of what I have. The different networks that you will need to get signed up for on your quest for ways to make money on Hubpages are Google Adsense, Amazon Affiliate program, Ebay, and the new Hubpages Ad program. All are excellent ways of generating cash for your hubs.

My 50+ hubs are generating about 130-150 dollars a month for me from the various programs (about an average of $80 from HubPages Ad Program and $60 from Adsense). It use to be more but it's down a little bit because California has been banned from Amazon Associates affiliate network but with the recent ruling by Governor Jerry Brown hopefully I will be back in business with them. I do lots of promoting of my hubs through various social sites like Facebook, Twitter, Digg, Yahoo Answers, etc. My next goal is to have over 200 hubs by January 1st, 2012 so my earnings will at least be tripled. On my pace that should be around $400-$500 a month! Imagine what you can do with an extra $500 a month! The best thing about this is that I will be making money from my love to write 24 hours a day.

I will be revising this hub as I continue to learn new techniques on my ongoing quest to find the best way to make money on HubPages.
