Why Write Hubs

Updated on June 21, 2010

A bit about me

I am a single mother of tow small children. Never did I ever expect or want to be a single mother. I always wanted to be the stereotypical mom. I wanted to stay at home with my children and be active in their activities. My children participate in dance, gymnastics, girl scouts, piano and swim lessons. My life is pretty busy when managing home, family and fiance. On top of all that I am disable. I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis two years ago. This disease has made it difficult for me to maintain an "office" or hourly job. Also I am a full time student online at Kansas State University. With all that said you can see how difficult it could be to maintain a traditional job and juggle all that I have going on.

Bring home the bacon.

Despite all that I have going on in my lifeI have to make a living. I've scowerd the internet looking at "work at home" opportunities. While doing this research I realized that a virtual call center just was not my thing and selling was not a easy as they made it appeared. One day while doing my daily reasearch I stumbled upon Hubpages. It was as though darks skies had parted and angels began to sing when I started to looka t what Hubpages had to offer.

I am not a profersional writer. I do not even begin to think of myself as a good writer. To be honest I was intmidate when I read many of the hubs listed. I saw all of the excellent hubs and I thought "I could never do this.

Why I love Hubpages.

I soon realized that I was wrong. I could do it. And I am doing it write now. Although I am not a great writer, I do have an opinion on something. I have a voice that wants to be hear. And it helps that I have some grasp of the English language. With hubpages, I can express myself in a way I never thought I could. I can work as much or as little as I want. I can work in my pjs and even when I am feeling poorly. Now that I've joined the hubpages community, I can not see any reason why anyone would not want to write a few hubs.

Ideas, hubs and getting it out

Hubpages has tapped into a creative side of me that I did not know existed. I feel the more I produce hubs, the more the ideas over flow my mind. I've now decided to keep a note pad in my purse just so i can write quick notes down when they come to me. I've also began to construct hubs when there is something I have the urge to research.

I know that my hubs will take time to generate revenue. I can honestly say I do not foresee the end of hubs from me any time soon. Hubpages have become an addict, passion and hobby for me. Hopefully one day soon hubpages will also become a money making machine for me as well.

You have such a positive and vibrant outlook and nothing will get you down. God will bless you and just keep on pushing. If you are passionate about writing you can do it, manuy of us are here as we just love to write and express ourselves. I still find myself correcting articles that I have written or misspellings. This article is expressive and meaningful. Good Hub!!!
