You Can Make Money on Hubpages

Updated on September 11, 2016

Write, Write and Write Some More

I have been writing hubs for a couple of years now and I love the joy of being able to write and share my work with Hubpages wonderful community. It makes me feel so much more confident about my writing. Each hub I have had published has been such an amazing learning experience for me.

Now, if you don't like writing then I suggest you try something else. Because in order to see the money start rolling in on your hubs, you have to be willing to put in a good amount of time and effort. I usually spend around two to three hours doing research for my hubs and another hour or so writing them. Like anything else, writing to get paid requires hard work and tons of patience.

The more views you receive on your hubs, the more money you are likely to get. In order for you to draw more views toward your articles on Hubpages, you need to produce high-quality hubs, that are about popular relevant topics. You need to do some research and find a hot topic to write about, the hotter the topic the more revenue you are likely to bring in.

How to Earn Money on Your Hubs

There are many different ad programs on Hubpages that you can join and start making money through. Which is something very different I have noticed that makes this site so different from other sites. All you have to do is go to your hub-pages earning page and signup for all the ad programs. It is that simple and before you know it you will start earning cash. Well, that is as long as you put in the hard work and produce good hubs.

The programs you can us to earn money with on Hubpages, are Google Ad sense, Amazon, Ebay and the Hubpages Ad program. These are all user friendly sites, that offer great advice on how to make money. You just have to be willing to take the extra time to do some research about how to increase your revenue and take in the advice they are offering. You make money through ad programs when others click on your ads placed within your hubs, So the more people you can draw to your hubs the better chance you have for getting clicks and making money. Don't click on your own ads though, this is a definite "No-No" and doesn't do you any favors.

Don't Expect Overnight Success

Please don't expect to get rich overnight, especially if you haven't written but a few hubs. Most people who write for Hubpages do it because they love to write. This is not only true about Hubpages but other writing sites as well. It takes so much hard work and determination, followed by a whole lot of reading and learning along the way. If you want to make money being a writer, you need to treat it like a job and put in some time and devotion. The hub team at Hubpages is always there if you need any help on improving your hubs, they will even give you some words of encouragement.

So if you have pretty decent writing skills, along with a large chunk of patience and you love to write, then Hubpages is a great place for you to share a few words and give some advice. They even have an apprenticeship program you can join that will teach you all the secrets you need to know to help improve your earnings with Hubpages.

I am so glad I decided to stick with hub-pages, they have helped me brush up on my writing skills so much and the other writers on this site are always so nice and willing to offer advice and help whenever I need it. I think the main thing I have learned since writing for hub-pages is all good things really do come in due time, so just be patience and keep writing.

Good hub for newbies. I think it takes a lot of time and patience to make very much money on here, but it is a great place to network and practice one's writing skills. Plus, it makes for a great portfolio!

Good information and tips on writing on Hubpages. Your advice is right on and will help many to understand it takes time and patience to build writing skills. I love the community best and not so much concerned with the earnings at this point.

Goods tips, very informative and useful. My advice to those who are sorry on not earning much, please be patient. My case is best example, after a long wait for 1 year to get my adsense account approved, now I get around $ 20 per month. Patience pays and work well. All will succeed. If you are still doubtful, please read some of mu hubs exclusively related to HP. Dear, thank you for sharing this nice hub.

Depending on what you think "making money" really is. Anything under $100 per month is not considered making any money. Here, you can barely cross the $5/mo.

So to response to your posts, I would say you cannot make money by writing hubs. However, you can implement Amazon affiliate links and see a small improvement.

I use HubPages to get visitors to my review site, not to make money on here.

Thank you for your comment MG, I am so sorry, hub views go up and down for all kinds of reasons. Some days my hubs get a lot of views and some days they don't. I have not made a lot of money writing hubs but I sure have met a lot of wonderful people here. Hopefully you guys will start seeing more views to your hubs soon.

Dear prettynutjob30, at least for me, its all are only sayings. I have spent four years on hub pages. I have all my 220 featured hubs. But the total earning on it, is only $1.19. I have affiliated my twitter, facebook, linkedin, pixabay, google+ accounts. I have affiliated all the ad programs on earning page of my HP profile. I now, only enjoying writing on HP. The ambition of earning on HP has totally been vanished from my mind. Overall, Happy Christmas, and wishing you a very prosperous new year.
