Add Pictures to Your Hub With Allposters and Zazzle

With Pictures from Zazzle You Can Earn Affiliate Sales for Yourself and Zazzle Sales for Your Fellow Hubbers

There are two excellent sources of pictures for your lenses that you can use within Hubpages restrictions, and earn money from the sales of those pictures on your lenses.

Allposters is the better known source which is a commercial vendor of art prints, and has an affiliate program that you can sign up for. From Allposters, you can add classic art prints from the old masters or more modern photographs.

Another source, which is quite underused, is Zazzle. Zazzle is a print-on-demand company that has loads of artist made designs including pictures by artists. Many Hubbers also sell art on Zazzle.

Just as an example, Lake Erie Artists Gallery, my company has a gallery on Zazzle that includes several prints and photographs. What is so exciting about using Zazzle is that you can not only get great pictures, but you can earn affiliate income by selling your fellow Hubbers' pictures, so that they would earn money from sales too.

This article will explain how to use both programs, and show you examples of the pictures.

Using Zazzle Pictures

Zazzle is easy to use. Follow the instructions below.

How to Use Zazzle Links

Become a Zazzle affiliate

Zazzle is a very friendly and easy to use website. In order to earn any money from Zazzle selling other people's products, and get their links, you need to become an associate or affiliate seller.

First, sign up for Zazzle. It is totally free.

Once you have an account, then sign up to be an associate seller. From your Zazzle dashboard go to the more promotion tools link. Then click on Associate Center on the left hand column (gray bar). They will walk you through the steps.

After you are an associate, every link that you generate will have your associate referral id already embedded. Your Associate Center page will tell you what that referral number is. You can get banners and other promotional tools, but my favorite is to create direct links to products as shown below:

Using Allposters

With Allposters, you can use copyrighted material legally.

How to Use Allposters Links

Using copyrighted pictures legally

Allposters is set up a little differently. As an Allposters affiliate, you can earn money two ways.

The first way is through direct sales. If a customer clicks on any links that you have placed on a lens, and purchases something from Allposters, you will get a 20% commission.

The second way is through any other people who sign up under your affiliate link. So if you sign up under my affiliate link on this page, then a customer buys from you, you earn a commission, and so do I because you signed up under me. You will continue to earn from anyone who signs up under you as long as you are an affiliate of Allposters.

So to sign up as an affiliate go to Allposters. Sign up to be an affiliate.

Next, browse through the affiliate area. You can search for pictures on most topics, and find several selections. In order to link to the pictures click on the get html link. This will take you to another screen with some options for size, and what you want in your link.

AllPosters is a good place to find famous artists' work from all art history periods as well as movie and music posters and t-shirts. The image below is from AllPosters.

@bleu-vert: 1. You can add your Zazzle referral to any link on Zazzle.

      2. No, it is a category.

      3. Yes.

      4. Yes.

Your post certainly is helpful but I still have a couple of questions. First, how did you manage to make so that your link to the turtle picture on zazzle returns all the products featuring that image? Did you create a separate store for those products? If yes, is it OK for someone to do that with products that belong to another artist? (not your case, I know, that's why I ask).

Second, how does one use a Zazzle image as the lens image? Simply download the design to their computer and reupload it?

      Thanks in advance.

@anonymous: Hi Shirley, I sent you a direct email, but for the benefit of everyone, I would put my Squidoo bio page, and just use one account unless you want to track your pages as separate accounts. You can add tracking info inside the account too.

@jseven lm: If you upload the picture into the picture part of any module you don't need the html, it will automatically make it for you. You can still add a link. Otherwise you can put the html in the text part of any module.

    • Paula Atwell profile image

Paula Atwell 8 years ago from Cleveland, OH

@pinkpig lm: It shouldn't disappear from the editing mode, just the published mode. After you save, go back and see what's left , and then close the spaces that don't make sense. The text will reappear on the saved module.

hi great lens- faved and 5 starred

I've recently joined the allposters affiliates(sorry I would have used your link if i saw this lens first) and am struggling to get the links to work-

what do you mean when you say" html of all the span code"?

and when I save the module with html link- it all disappears ! so not sure how to close gaps when nothing is there!!

      any help greatly appreciated

I like the Zazzle affiliate program and have used several Zazzle products on lenses. It's nice to have a resource of lensmasters with Zazzle stores. Haven't used AllPosters yet - but may in the future. Nice lens.

Brilliant. I love the idea of using Zazzle images to help yourself and help other folks just like us trying to get by on the internet. AllPosters has great images, but the idea of helping fellow Zazzlers appeals to me even more. (Or, if you have photos on Zazzle, you can help yourself.)
