Any idea's for a good story
preferrably horror but all ideas excepted
Any story revolving around a theme involving love, fraud, money, relationship and adventure etc.
I have a good idea for a story: why women from small families are more liberal and more ambitious than women from large families who tend to be more traditional and are satisfied with the minimum from life.
If you're going to go the horror route, make it good. There hasn't been a good truly scary novel written in years, since Stephen King got hit by a van. And horror movies are practically nonexistent.
You might want to decide what setting you want. Where? Time and place? Leading roles or a collection of main characters? Fantasy or believable?
Also...you might want to come up with your own ideas, otherwise you're just plagerizing and cashing in on someone else's creative efforts.
You also might want to take some classes in English, particularly grammar and spelling. It's "ideas" without an apostrophe, and it's "accepted," not "excepted."

Every time I start a new story, I always attempt to create a story board so I dont forget small details and characteristics of the main story line, yet I never end up doing it.It it an essential part of writing a story??
