Do you set a monthly goal for yourself on Hubpages?

If so, what is your goal this month? And how to you hope to reach that goal.

i personally don't set a monthly HubPages goal for myself. I publish hubs when the mood strikes.

    Hi,

Can't say that I do. I tend to start writing my hubs when I feel I've got another idea - often it changes a few times. But I don't plan at the beginning of each month to do a set number of hubs.

My goal on hubpages is to achieve and publish at least 4 hubs, on a monthly basis.
First i try to create an idea for a hub on what i want to do, or say,  then i try to identify if there is a target niche on what i'm writing about.
Then, i break these down into the smaller and smaller targets that i must hit to reach the viewers toward my hubs.
Finally, once i have my plan, i start working on it . Goal setting for any hubs is a powerful process that  may help you see the overall perspective that shapes all other aspects of your articles, at least for me it is. And also for motivating yourself to turn your vision ,put in on paper, and turn it into reality.

My goals vary.  Every month I would like to see an increase in income.  Then there are things like number of things - followers, hubs, comments, etc.  Not really goals - just numbers that its nice to say go from 97 to 103 or whatever.

One goal I absolutely can't set is number of hubs.  I need to feel like it to write.

Whether it's on HubPages or my own site, I like to set goals in terms of growth. Early on, this could be a large increase (i.e. 50% to 100% increase in views), but that's unsustainable in the long term.

After I've been here for six months or so, I'll be aiming for a more attainable increase of about 10% per month. Slow and steady wins the race, so to speak, and it's better to set achievable goals and blow past them than set high goals and fail all the time.
