How long did it take you before you saw any results from Google adsense ?
How many hubs did you have, how long were you an here?
AMBASSADOR BUTLER if you have no hubs, how could your get a click through?
I just had my first AdSense clickthrough last Friday, after more than 6 weeks of writing hubs. Not very encouraging. AdSense ads are too generic IMO.
I am still waiting, it is too slow. when does it pick up?
Yap It takes time !! But be patient if you have good presentation and motivation to attract traffic , you will obviously see it's result after few days . CHECK OUT MY HUBS !!
Still waiting....I've heard that it can take years and that patience is key. I've only been around for two months and eleven hubs.
I've been here for three months but only written seven hubs so far and have not really attempted to use the keyword stuff and hence have clocked up 46 cents. I must say I was pretty excited to get one click.
After 13 days I got my first click. I was way to excited at making 46 cents.
You need to optimize your site. You can get a lot of web tools. Please also check for the keywords in your page. Visit google webmaster to find more.
It took me about two months to realize I made anything. I am up to about $1.50 after almost 3 months of hubbing and 11 hubs. I was ready to give up seeing as how I didn't think I made a single cent, but eventually I figured out that I had to check my payment history and it was then that I realized I was actually making some money.
By monitoring my google adsense and my google analytics (as well as the hubpage statistics) I was able to quickly determine the extreme importance of backlinking. I am currently reading up on backlinking a bit more, though it seems fairly straight forward and simple (almost a no-brainer). I just don't think I realized the impact just getting a hundred views here and a hundred views there can make.
So far it seems to me that if you politely find a way to work a link to one of your hubs into a content specific message thread in a relatively active forum you can pretty much count on that seed bearing fruit. Of course it helps if that forum is "dofollow."
I'm new at this, but whatever I am doing is working so far. I just have to get better at it. Don't give up!
I don't believe that anyone can accurately assess any site for its earning potential until they've written over 20 search engine optimized articles. After 100 articles then you should see what the site is really made of.
My earnings on HP are pretty low. I attribute that to their ad placement because I have plenty of views. I don't remember exactly how long until I earned, but it was awhile.
I still have less than 20 hubs. I don't earn much on Adsense here. I've made more with Amazon. My CTR for Adsense and Amazon are higher on InfoBarrel.
Keep at it though if you're asking because you're not earning. Keep writing, read about SEO, implement it, branch out, and eventually you'll earn.

I joined hub pages recently and have only a few articles online. So if I am to apply for a google adsense account what would be a safe number of articles to have before applying? And is the amount of time the articles are published also a factor?

I have been on hubpages for two months. I have read multiple articles on SEO and backlinking. Ninety percent of my hubs do not have backlinking. But I choose for a while to say no backlinking. It was "different" I thought and "original". ...
