How much information are you comfortable with sharing on your profile page?

I just started Hubbing a few days ago and am not sure how much I should reveal about myself.

You just have to share things you feel that are worth sharing with the public,a little bit about yourself but not your personal life. Your hobbies, likes and dislikes, something to tell someone something about you but not your bank account, social security number, residencial address or Phone contact.
Ask youself what you actually want to know about the other person then you will get to an answer of what to share about yourself.

    Cheers.

That's really up to you. Putting some of your interests down could help readers know what your hubs are mainly about, and sharing a bit about yourself isn't a bad idea. I like to put quotes in my profile. It helps people get a sense of who I am without actually telling them who I am.

Welcome to hubpages and good luck~

Well mskills, because of the issue of Identity theft, we have to be very careful about leaving
highly sensitive personal details in the profile page of Hub or any social networking site. Leave the basics like your Website/Weblinks, your profile names, contact details. Ii don't believe in putting all the data about your family's full private online.

A very determined person can easily mine sensitive data about your family profile
    through the major Search Engines!

    Welcome to the HubUniverse!

I have lots of security issues and so I cannot divulge too much information about myself. Some people have jobs that they could lose if they are seen to be too active in blogs and networks and their activity compromise the corporation's security.
