It takes time! Just concentrate on getting your hubscore up by writing hubs and this in turn will earn your hubs more internal links within hubpages. As a result more people will find your hubs and you will get more followers.

One way to get extra followers is to comment on other peoples hubs.

But don't worry! You have one more follower now, smile!

If you need a hand feel free to throw me a message or read my hub on micro niche research or Hubpage SEO to help things move along.

Give it time.  Hah!  I see you just picked up another one!  See there?

Welcome to HubPages.  Now, you've been here for 4 days.  Most people don't know who you are just yet.  If you comment on the Hubs of other writers you actually like (not just to be doing it--articles that actually interest you), those writers will often check you out.  Curiosity and all that.

IF they like what they see--your profile, how you write, the subjects you cover, etc.--they MAY decide to follow you.

But the very best way to acquire "followers" (a term I still detest) is simply to write lots and lots and lots of really good stuff.  Like the Field of Dreams:  If you build it, they will come.

...ditto.  Engage with others in the topics you love.  Ask them questions, follow their posts, and make sure your content is what others want to read about...keep at it.  Good luck

you just started here first off. this site requires time for a person to grow in most cases so relax, write and answer questions and in time things will get better.

Read others who write articles that interest you, follow them, leave comments and answer questions. This usually gets others to "know" you. Above all keep writing quality articles.

Firstly welcome to hub pages! It takes time to build a fan base so you must be patient..

Your hubs are good but they are too short. I've found that people with less than a 1000 word hubs often don't get followers. When people read hubs, they want detailed information and short hubs are a sign of a lazy writer. Plus, your hub will not be indexed by google due to little or no content so therefore not a lot of people will actually find your hub, neither will people know that you exists on hub pages!

Participate a lot in the forums.. People will notice you there. Never self advertise yourself (like "read my hub, follow me") that will not get you anywhere...

Visit other people's hubs and comment on them. Follow those that truly interest you not just because your desperate for followers. Some people will not follow you back if you only follow them for the statistics. People who follow you are normally those that are genuinely interested in your writing.

    I hope this helps...
