What do you think about Hubs that are just links to Amazon, etc.?
They purport to be a review of products but is mostly cut and paste. Is it a smart financial move or is it akin to literary prostitution?
I normally vote these down, due to them being a few lines of the introduction, mixed with a few online reviews then half the page is Amazon links. Boring and dull.
If they do a good job of describing the product, provide useful details and tips then they are warranted as a page. Being in California it no longer makes sense for me to run amazon ads since I cant earn money from Amazon but it is what it is, they dont bother me, if google is cool with them fine.

I am yet to successfully publish any articles with amazon products. I am trying to be clear on the requirements for these articles. I have 4 hubs that are unfeatured, and no matter how I try imporving them, they remain unfeatured. Some of them are high scorers: One of them scored 88 today and yet it is still unfeatured. I can't understand this. Can anyone clue me in.

I had a conversation with a new online writer and I realized what I recommended is a bit more specific than I used to be based on what I've seen be successful. I'm in the middle of refreshing several Hubs (150 to go), but here is what I tell others and am trying to do myself.- write on...

I honestly want to know. Was there a recent change in hubpages.com policies, or did I do something to inadvertently upset someone? All of a sudden I have started getting a flood of e-mails about one hub after the next getting unfeatured. Even TONIGHT (Friday night at 7:30 pm) I am continuing...
