You've gone to your unpublished hub to read or edit it just as mentioned earlier. I often have 10 views before I actually publish them :-)
If you categorize your hubs in groups, the links of hubs in the same group appear below the published hubs. I think that's where people click on them
When you check your own unpublished hub, that view is immediately recorded. That is why you find those views.
viewing does not only mean somebody view your hub, it is possible to appear in your status the number of views, when you edit your hub, or you're the only one who view it. :)
