    I'm sure you can if you unpublish your article from HubPages. You still have the copyright and can publish where you want.

    Why not its your article you are the owner and you have the full right to do what U want to do with that. But I agree with Victoria Lynn that you should first unpublish it from the hubpages.

    You have to remove your hub completely from Hub pages before it can be sold, or published anywhere else, including your own blog. Yes, you own the content, but as long as it is on Hub Pages, they do not allow republishing, duplicate content rule, as long as hub is here. Unpublish it and remove it first.

    I think best would be if an editor from a magazine were trolling around Internet, one day, and bumped into something you wrote -- perhaps your hubs hold a prominent position in the Google search hierarchy -- and said to herself, 'That's a person who should be writing for us!' And then they contact you with an offer for a writing job!! That would be the best!
