What to do when someone steals your HubPages identity? A blogger has "Stricktly Dating Hubpages"
What actions to take when someone publishes on another site with your username and HubPages as their blog title? There is a Blogspot blog with the title "Stricktly Dating Hubpages" and I am not associated with it. The person is promoting various American Plastic Surgeons, does not appear to make any referral to ANY Hubs or HubPages content at all. Yet it could seem to anyone that I'm associated with this persons articles. I've contacted the author by being able to comment on the post, no reply as yet.
If there is no reference to your being the owner, or accreditation to you, then he is in big trouble, if you turn him in to the Google Blogger Gods!
BTW, did you sign on to the Creative Commons system? and did you post the logo (along with an explanation of what it means on your Hubs? I recommend it ..... to everyone!

So my suggestion to hubpages is that maybe you might like to look at alternate like say Ad Brite for the people who like me who are in the same position. I have 140 hubs up and I can see that I am still having the odd advertisement inserted onto my pages for which I will not receive payment; maybe...
