What to do with those old, low traffic hubs?

What to do with those old, low traffic hubs?

So I have a few hubs that have a low score and have not seen traffic in months, some as many as 9-10 months.  I tried updating a few to see if that helped, but it has not made a big difference.  Do you leave those hubs up, hoping that they will mature over time and with updates, or do you take them down so that you only have active hubs available

Many of my hubs are seasonal, so maybe I should leave them up to see if they get more attention in the spring/summer.

I have found that seasonal related hubs often require some age and then when it comes rolling around again the views will be up.  My example is I wrote a random hub about Christmas themed iPhone cases when I was playing around with the Amazon feature.  I wrote the hub in December 2010 and only received a few visits about November 15 of the year in 2011 I started getting 5 - 15 views a day on that hub and now it is back down to 1 a week if that.  So I think there is some value in keeping up older hubs that have a seasonal focus despite being out of season they page gets age with the search engines which is valuable as well.  That hub resulted in 4 amazon sales this Christmas season which since they are iPhone cases were small revenue shares, but the point remains the same nonetheless.

See how well you're doing in the Google Search boards, by typing in the title of these Hubs. If they're in the Top 3 pages, you may just need more keywords or updating, or, there might just not be anyone looking for what the Hub is about.

If the case is the latter, I'd keep them up, they may get attention some day, and it's better to keep them then to just throw away your work, trust me, I've thrown too much of mine away already.
