What kind of question will get the most answers?
I have written several questions with only a few answers on each. Is there a type of question (political, personal, etc.) that gets more responses?
I predict that this question will receive a lot of answers. I would say that political questions usually drum up a good following, especially if the question is well composed.
I think the questions that offer a lot of responses are those which relate to the act and art of writing. I think if you put yourself in the role of interviewing a writer, consider a question you would ask as if you were writing an article based on an interview.
According to me, anything about hubpages will get the most answers here as people around here are more familiar with it.
I'm not really sure but I think similar to the forums, questions about religion will attract readers to share their insights.
Most questions only get a few answers. Since the Questions/Answers section doesn't contribute to earnings, many Hubbers don't spend much time there.
Just off the top of my head, I would think that questions relating to the following topics should generate a fair number of answers:
- relationships
- religion
- making money
- hubpages
- Internet marketing
I love to increase my knowledge, so I ask questions and answer on all subjects. However, I have noticed relationships and writing questions result in multitudes of responses.
I think the questions in this section that get the most answers are really misplaced forum discussions. And that if they'd been posted there, the participation would have been even greater.
Its totally depend on your luck...If luck doesn't favor you , nothing will favor you..
The following topics seems to attract most
- Internet
- Work from Home
- relationships & sex
- religion
- How to make money
- hubpages related
- Internet marketing
I think questions relating to how to improve one's life in general, so working from home, how to make money eg. online, how to have better relationships, etc are winners in this realm.
People are taking responsibility for their lives.
It's a very good thing!

Why ask a question - do you really care about the responses or is it for entertainment?

Every few days, I get a question on my “Things You Should Never Do if Your Hamster Has Babies” article that says something along the lines of “my hamster just had babies, here is my personal problem, please help me.” Usually the answer they are looking for can be found in the article, but that’s...

Is anybody else irritated that when answering a question, you get told the answer is too short?I have tried answering a few questions, and while I am not just writing yes or no, I apparently don't have enough words. I had a 6 word answer and they wouldn't accept it. Do you think that forces a...

Why would anyone post a question in Religion and Philosophy and then delete opposed responses? There was a question asked in this category. The question had a lengthy "additional details". If the answers or comments went against the bent of the details they were deleted. Do some people...
