Should one remove non performing hubs?

I have one hub out of 8 which is performing well. And about 3 which are doing average. Is there any downside to keeping a hub that is performing way low? Is there a reason to keep a hub anyway and avoid removing it to clear the clutter, as I am getting tempted to keep only high performing hubs.
