What Do Hubbers Think of the New Navigation Menus?
HubPages just followed in Microsoft and Google's footsteps, making a simple one step task, a more complicated two or more step task. Instead of just clicking My Account, now you have to mousover your Hub ID to get there. Not that it's a big deal, but why make things harder? Simpler is better IMO.
I just roll with it. I'll get accustomed to it, and then if it changes again I'll be annoyed for a little while, and then adjust again.
The only thing I wish they would've done is sent us all an e-mail with the changed features.
You'll find an entire discussion over in the forums that's been running since it went live,

I liked the old format best. Change can be good if it is for the better - but just being different isn't necessarily an improvement.
Hey Rock_nj! I think that I prefer the old format best because it just seemed simpler to get around and of course I was used to it. I guess we will just have to live with the new change at least we still get to write thats all that really matters. Hope my answer did something for you. Have a great day!

I understand it difficult times but what good will deleting hubs do? I see some of the most prolific hubbers deleting heaps of hubs. Have we lost the hope of a hubpages bounce back?

I've had a massive headache ever since reading about this Squidoo acquisition thing yesterday. I'm not even going to get into whether I think it is a good idea or not. It doesn't matter what I think. The deal is done so it's time to move forward, and as always I trust HP management to make the...

Along with the Google effect lately I've seen a lot of forum posts about spam, and every time I hub hop it is obvious that there is a lot submitted here of both spam and simply substandard hubs.I would suggest that the following rules apply to the first 5 (or 10 or 20?) hubs by any new...

Like referrals.1. Why insert an _referralcode into the URL. Couldn't you come up with a dynamic insertion solution? If an insertion was required, what's wrong with appending it at the end of the URL as in ?referrer=xyz? or would that make it too easy for hubbers?2. Why do pages like the Referrals...

The forums are a place where many from HP gather to socialize, debate or ask for thoughts, opinions etc. to create a hub. I have sat silently and observed people being attacked or diverting the attack to make HP believe that they are the ones that were harmed. I am not saying that a person should...
