I've noticed a lot of Hub Profiles are written in the 3rd person, which do you prefer 3rd or 1st?
How have you written your profile?
And what style that you've seen do you like the best for what reasons?
My profile is written in 3rd person. I was taught to do it that way so as not to seem self-centred. In my professional writing, I try to refer to myself in the third person too, because the goal is to draw attention to the subject, not myself. Obviously I enjoy talking about myself--yes, self-centred is an apt description--and I thank you for giving me the chance to do so.

(and why, if you care to elaborate), and,b) what assumptions, if any, do you make about an author from viewing his/her...

I was studying the Authorship Markup on the new profile format that has been released for staff only at this time. I noticed that the HTML link to other profiles is coded as rel="me nofollow". This defeats the purpose of rel="me" for Google authorship markup since...
