   Any advice would be appreciated on how I'm doing and how to proceed
   
   I've now got 7 hubs.  I've decided to do some more research on SEO, keywords, and link building.  I've been reading a lot of hubs and articles involving these lately to learn more because I'm very new to it all.  My plan is to try and research and write 5 hubs then spend a few days building links and making sure they're optimized.  Is this a good plan?  Should I do one hub at a time then fine tune it?  I've just begun building links and have found that building to a few hubs at once seems a little easier than one at a time.

   My advice to you is get the hubs out there to start with. Then when they start to mature you can fine tune. Yes SEO is important, but not the be all and end all. Check out the work of Daisy Mariposa and her latest hubs and you will see what I mean. Compare her latest to her earlier ones in terms of layout and content. Content is king as they say. Quality interesting hubs will do the job for you.

      Thank you, exactly the kind of advice I'm looking for!  I have noticed when I joined several months ago, wrote two hubs and quit, that those two (the oldest 2) are better performing than all the rest!

   I'd advise you look at other writers in the same genre as you intend to write. The score system here in hubbery world is rather bizzar at times. I put a whole load of effort into my hubs and yet my scores are less than some I've just looked at without pictures and less than 200 words. Just write and improve, but don't forget to enjoy as well.

      Thank you Tony for the advice, I have been trying offer useful original content!  I've been reading many hubs, but as you said find many are short and without many picture or video capsules. I think I'll ask about the constuction with a new post!

   I think this is a very good plan, and you should see some great improvements to your earnings after doing this process! However, I would recommend that you 1. Write high quality content at all times. 2. Never spam social networking sites or blogs with your links.
   
   So long as you go by these two rules you should see a valid amount of success from this extra work! Good luck

      Thanks for the advice!  I only planned to submit to social sites once every 6 months kind of randomly, would this be too much?  Also after I build links and add more to the hubs, should I resubmit them to search engines?

   I've found that when I write a hub that people want to read, it automatically gets shared and the readership goes up without my having to do anything.  Just write about something specific that isn't found everywhere else on the internet, making sure you have really added value for your readers.
   
   The keywords will automatically be in the hub because you are talking about the topic.  Sure, you can use the Adwords tool, and try to figure out which keywords pay more than others, and what topics are more popular.  But things change, and a hot topic will have many other people writing new hubs about the same topics.  I would research keywords, but not depend on it entirely.
   
   It helps to be a part of the community - reading, commenting and sharing other people's hubs.  They will in turn, return the favor, and get your traffic started.  You can share your hubs with your networks, but eventually they will feel spammed and you will run out of people to share them with.  By networking with these other hubbers, you can tap into their networks, and vice versa.

      Well hopefully I'm writing about things people want to read, but sometimes I think things are interesting that not many other people do.  I plan to keep working on more hubs and experimenting with what does well!  Thank you for the great advice!
