I was reading someone's hub in the new format for food topics, and looked at the hub slideshow. While it didn't take me away from the hub page, it did something else that I found disturbing. At the end of the slideshow, instead of giving the option of closing and returning to the hub, it offered slideshows that were on other people's hubs, leading the reader away from the hub the slideshow came from. This just doesn't seem right to me. I think that the distraction to other hubs is a disservice to the author of the hub that the reader was originally viewing.

But these are other authors' hub slideshows. If you choose to look at one of them while you're on someone's hub, doesn't choosing another slideshow take you to the other author's hub? Thanks for answering.
As I understand it (from the HP blog) Google counts your hub as being open. Maybe it's because the other slideshows are actually on your hub now. There are many of us who object to this new lack of control regarding slideshows.
