There are many with the same and bigger hurts. Christ himself was betrayed, mocked, and spit upon. It doesn't get much worse...unless they crucify you, too.

To see people suffer and die in front of you and being helpless is one of the most disturbing feelings, I can say. I can relate to what you say.

To see the one's own child die and to perform the rituals is extremely painful. I'm sorry to learn about the death of your son. It is indeed tragic to die so young.

Divorce indeed leaves a lot of pain and scars especially on the minds of the children more so if they are at an impressionable age.

And one's faith or religion keeps us sane and makes us act according to His will. I can't agree with you more.

ps, my mom suffered for 5 years before her death from complications of cancer, stroke and a failing heart. Seeing her pain every moment was the most painful experience.I can very well experience your feelings and relate to them.

I agree Rosemary. Life and death are a part of life. But they affect us so strongly.

Kelley, when my wife delivered the first time, she said that giving birth is like a new birth for her. I agree with all you say. As a father I can say too, that being one is a great gift from God.
