Do hubpage scores reflect also the "content" of the material published?

    Do hubpage scores reflect also the "content" of the material published?

    According to HubPages FAQs, yes, the score reflects the quality of "content". Here's what the FAQs say: "the quality of individual Hubs, much like Google ranks popular pages. Many factors contribute to our rating scale of 1 to 100, with 100 being our top score." My assumption is that quality = content.

      If one writes the truth, why is that rated lower?  I wrote one hub that others had positive comments.  Why would I get the lowest score on all of hubpages for that?  I think it's political.  I feel snubbed and it is frightening as hell.

      As Uninvited Writer explains below, what HP likes and what Google likes could be quite different. You could just ignore the HP score.

      If the truth was written by someone who was a highly-skilled writer, it would score higher than that same truth written by a poorly-skilled writer.

    The subject of the content has nothing to do with it. It's the length and the quality. It's also based on traffic. My hubs range from the 50s to the 90s.

    And...after all that...the score does not matter one bit to earnings or whether or not Google indexes it.

      I am not being paranoid.  I happen to have a Federal lawsuit evidencing this interference and if I did not it would be considered "frivilous."  But thanks for the info.
