How long did it take you all to get your first 1,000 views?

I've been a member for 9 days now and I'm approaching 800 views with around 45 hubs. Is this in line with others? Or am I behind...

Because people write different numbers of Hubs on really different topics, there's really no use comparing how long it takes different people to reach "X" number of views. Those sorts of stats only become meaningful when you compare like items, made the same, published and promoted identically.

Some other authors undoubtedly will take longer than you to reach 1,000 views and some will do it faster.

You make some very valid points. I guess I worded my question fairly poorly by asking if my view statistics were in line with others. I think I'm just a little curious to see how fast/slow others plunged into Hubpages. Thanks for answering :-)

It took me about a month, but I didn't have as many Hubs as you do at nine days. I think I had thirty at the end of my first month. I've got seventy Hubs now in eight weeks, and I hit 5,000 total views on Friday. I'm about to 200 per day now, creeping up on 300.

Wow this really made me want to write more! It is my second day on HP and I did 16 hubs so far and saw the views total up to like 255 or something like that. Hyped!

First of all congratulations for churning out such a big number of hubs in 9 days. That is impressive.I quite understand your feelings. A new hubber is always concerned to get her/his first accolade and reach the first milestone of a 1000 views. It has been 2 weeks for me in hubpages and now I am slowly beginning to feel comfortable in my shoes and with my position here.
It took me 6 days to reach 1000 views. But, that is no indication of anything. As, Relache put it, your benchmark should be your performance in the past week, month, year and not others.

I started writing my first hub on 3/12/2012 and now I have over 800 viewers.  I have 21 hubs.  Just a little over 3 months.  I think that is pretty good.  Not too many comments though.
