Hi Paul! Welcome to HubPages!
I see that right now you've got a Hubber score of 28 and you signed up four hours ago. Here's what you can expect, if my trajectory as a fellow newbie can be used as an example:
* I started with a Hubber score of 24. This rose to 75 in just under six days.
* During those initial six days, I published several Hubs, read and commented on other Hubs, tweaked my profile to make it as interesting and user-friendly as possible, did lots of reading in the Learning Center to help me abide by the rules and joined every earnings program except eBay (which I'll work on a bit later).
* I'm now on Day 8, Hubber score of 88, I have 7 Hubs published, I'm a Level 2 Commenter and I've added answering questions to my daily HubSpot activities.
During a HubSpot focus group I attended on my third or fourth day, I learned that you can increase your score quickly by doing these basic things because the system is eager to prove that you're not a spammer. It's not hard to prove, but I must say I put quite a few man hours into it. I wanted to start strong, and raising your Hubber score is one way to start strong.
Best of luck with your Hubbing! You're going to find this to be a really fun place!
P.S. I reached Level 1 Commenter within the first 3 days and it took 11 eleven comments to obtain that accolade. I truly believe in the value of "detailed and engaging" comments, so the time I put into it was well worth it.
