How common is 1,000 impressions day for one Hub?

Do many of you veteran Hubbers have a Hub, or multiple Hubs that consistently get 1,000 impressions a day? Is that a reasonable goal to try and attain?

I had one hub that consistently god 1-2k view per week for a while but never per day. Good job!

Not consistently, no.  I've only had two Hubs EVER get 1,000 views (or more) per day...both due directly to people shooting other people to death.

    Let me clarify.

Both "1,000 +" events took place in 2011.

The first occurred the day Jared Loughner went on his murderous rampage in Tucson, AZ, wounding 19, six of whom died.  I had a Hub titled "Target ID: Gabrielle Giffords", left over from the 2010 Congressional campaign.  Gabby won anyway...but that day of the shooting, more than 6,000 viewers took a crack at my Hub, nearly all of them haters.  Death threats were sprinkled throughout.

I ended up deleting the Hub about an hour after the first nasty comments hit the page, not out of fear but out of respect for the fallen and their families.

The second occurred after Jose Guerena was gunned down by a SWAT team in his own home, also in Tucson.  This time, my piece was calling for independent investigation of the shooting--which never happened--and the viewers were people of like mind, solid citizens none too happy with the shooting.  There was one burst where, just like with the Loughner rampage, more than 6,000 viewers hit the page...but over a period of 4 days, not just one.

Other than that, with 1,250 Hubs currently published, there have been NO other 1,000-view days that I can recall.

Moral of the story?  Violent tragedy sells, I guess.

6,000! That's crazy busy. I hope you made $50 bucks at least over that stretch, to compensate for days with 13, 7, and 18 impressions.
Basically, that is what 95% of my 20 Hubs do per day. But one Hub = 1,300 impressions today= 9,300 last 30 days!?
