Now; I realist that page views and hub revenue is not 100% directly proportionate, however I wondered what people found is generally the average revenue generated from a certain amount of page views, I have a rough idea it might be around; 400 pages views = $1 (On average) Now this might totally be wrong, I wondered what you guys thought

This is google analytics/Ad sense stuff? is hubpages earnings scheme different?
This is how HubPages earnings work as far as I know. Depending on what your hubs are about, HubPages places ads on them. For certain topics, advertisers are willing to pay more per impression. Thus you get varying dollars per views.
CPM doesnt apply since you're not measuring people who clicked on specific keywords to get to your hub. CPM is a specific term relating to advertiosing kweywords. for hubs, it's impossible to quantify, since there are many ways tio find your hub
What you earn on Hubpages is based on two things. Impressions and CPM (cost per thousand). If I get 100 impressions with a CPM of $5.20, then I earned $0.52. Go to Earnings, then earnings report, and you can see exactly your impressions/CPM.
those are for impressions of the AD, not your hub
Exactly, which is how you end up earning from hp.
So Revenue-per-page and ad clicks ARE two different things then ?
You can help the HubPages community highlight top quality content by ranking this answer up or down.
Mine is simillar to this but this is much lower than most other peoples here
Hubpages shows their ads most of the time and our adsense sometimes. $0.50 is what i got as my share from their earnings but i made over $5 from my adsense ads. So in total so far made around $5.50+ from hubpages :-)
