It can take a few days for google to pick up your hubs and since you are such a new user google probably hasn't been able to determine whether you have good content or not. Just give it a little time and everything will level out and you can see where you're at.
To see where your traffic is coming from go to "my account" by clicking on your username on the upper right of the screen. There is a gray box on the left with a list of things starting with "Statistics" there is an option further down called "traffic sources" this will tell you where just about every view comes from.
By looking through a couple of your hubs it seems you have pretty good quality. There are headers, strong paragraphs, and your writing is clear. I would recommend adding a picture to at least some of them because they are easy to come up with pictures for. An aloe plant, a bucket of rain water, a woodtick.
If you're looking for more feedback on your hubs I would recommend commenting on other people's hubs. Sometimes they will decide to go look at yours and you can gain followers this way which will give you more viewers in the long run.
Go through some of the articles in the learning center http://hubpages.com/learningcenter/contents for more information about where to get free pictures and how to cite them properly as well as tips about the capsules and stuff. Reading other people's hubs will give you a good baseline for what is a good article and what isn't.
