If I continue as I'm doing at present, I could die of old age before getting a payout:) I doubt if even thousands of hubs would earn me a living. You DO have to write the kind of thing that gets googled by people who just might want to buy something!
I'm still working towards that first payout...! I would have quit long time back had I not enjoyed the writing and interaction with other writers. That's what keeps me coming back
I agree with you, sweetzara-----that's what keeps most of us ,coming back.
I am just wondering what do you mean by "no matter how hard they try, it just won;t work for some folks"? Is there a piece of puzzle most people will miss out while writing?
Some people no matter how hard they try, just aren't cut out to be writers. This has been true for the entire history of the struggling author. Atheletes dream of Olympic medals, actors dream of Oscars, but success at that level is rare. Same here.
relache: I often see your comments, and I appreciate and enjoy your honesty.
HI Kittyjj, how many hubs would one have to write to reach that level of income?
sweetzara, Chuck has more than 600 in 5 years, Marye Audet has close to 500 in 5 years. But keep in mind that not the quantity but the quality of hubs help bring you the $$$.
Even amongst the hubbers who are relatively successful financially, there's a big variation in the numbers of hubs they have to write to earn the same amount. It's the topic, I think, that makes the difference.
I do agree plenty of effort in researches are required. Nothing comes free.
