   Why aren't search engines finding my hub?
   
   I posted a hub about 28 hours ago, and it is not in the search results for any search engines. And no, it's not just a low rank. I know it hasn't been that long, but usually my hubs appear within 8 hours, so is this normal?

   There is no promise of search engine to index your page. It could be immediate, or even months.
   The important point is you need to optimize your page based on SEO.
   For a normal website, we will submit our sitemap to webmaster like Google. That way, it will index our page much faster.
   So, keep optimizing your hub and don't just stop there and wait.

   Some of my hubs haven't been indexed for a while, whilst others climbed to the top 3 google results. Depends on competition and SEO

   HubPages is using a new process of hub review using an algorithm. Within twenty-four hours after you publish your article, HubPages will determine if the quality is good enough to set free to the earch engines. That is my understanding of the new process anyway.

   Install google toolbar. The page rank display gadget shows you when the page was crawled if you right click and select the option to view cache. It may have just not been crawled yet.

   I checked in my search engine and it's there on the Yahoo search, right on the front page about fourth from the "sponsored" links. I can tell you that there are several things that may add to the problem and make your article get there more slowly.  My favorite is to put in your search and see what words were part of the titles that landed on the front page. YuGiOh and Competitive were part of the first titles on Yahoo. Those were also associated with YouTube, a great way to get on top is posting a video that goes along with your article! Another thing to take into account is that if a product is new or there aren't a lot of people writing about it yet, Google and other search engines have trouble categorizing it. Adding the above words or any others you find to your title can help with that.
   
   After about 24 hours, if you are still not showing up, using the Hub Pages Title Tuner may help. Finally, the best way to get up there quickly is to write related hubs and group them together by going to your account and selecting groups in the menu on the left hand side. Create a group for each set of related hubs, then drag them from Orphaned Hubs to the group they belong in. The recommended number is 3 to 6 although I have as many as 12 in one group.
   
   One other way, if you aren't already doing so, is to create a summary. On the write side of your editing page scroll down and look at your dashboard. Click on the Summary tabs and create a two or three sentence summary, using at least one of the key words from your title.

   As Faybe Bay mentioned, my hub is indexed now. It took about 36 hours. I think Life and Luxury was right. Recently I noticed they added an Idle Status icon to the right of the "My Account" page, and it says something about waiting 24 hours after you publish a hub. So I guess it will just take longer for hubs to get indexed now.
