How do I get out of Adsense limbo and make some money?
Your best option is to start your own self hosted blog and write original content and then share it with your social networks. You need traffic to earn money through adsense and the more traffic the more money. Write a 500 to 800 word blog post that is completely related to your blog niche, wait for it to become indexed by Google (just copy and paste a phrase from your post into the Google search and if it shows up, it's indexed) then take the exact same post and submit it to EzineArticles. Don't spin it or edit it in any fashion, just add 2 links in your author resource box, one to your blog's index page and one to a related post within the blog. There are many things you can do to drive up traffic but this is the main issue. Original, useful content. Hubpages should only be a secondary source for you as it can also help you drive traffic through the links in your profile page and the useful content you provide here.
Good question. Even when I get AdSense hits, they are usally for a penny. At this rate, it will be 70 months before I get to the $100 payout threshold at AdSense. The advise regarding the blog and generating traffic sounds like a good idea.

I only write at HubPages right now, but was wondering for those who do write for multiple sites which would be a good secondary or tertiary article submission site.
