Why do some people have more than one account?

I've noticed that several people have more than one account. I was wondering what the reason for this would be. Why would you need a second account?

So you treat each account differently. One you have for more social reasons.

I don't know those people but I get your meaning. Like if I had a job interview and later they googled me, the 2nd or 3rd thing they'd see is my HP account. With a pseudonym anything edgy I said wouldn't effect my job prospects. Thanks for answering.

Thanks Chris. That does help a lot. When I asked the question I had an idea of why and you not only confirmed this but added something else I didn't consider to it.

I can understand this. I've actually been considering dividing my hubs up but I think I'll wait for a while.

There are no rules against it, you just have to register with seperate email for each account.
