Why are you writing for HubPages?

Is it more like for the money or to get some exposures as a writer or simply for the love of writing? Has it been beneficial for you and if so, how?

I simply love to write articles. I think it is benefiting me because I am researching things and learning as I write.

There are many reasons why I write for HubPages. I love to write, I love the commu nity and support, I love to check scores and views everyday(a secret reason) and I like the fact that this continual writing on many subjects has improved my knowledge and writing skills. I love reading other hubs and have learned many things.

Yah, the ever mysterious score. Up til now, I still haven't figure out how does it really work. The Learning center didn't really have any explanation about it or did I miss something. Mine fluctuates like NASDAQ. *grinning face*

When I was job searching on the Internet HubPages was listed. That's only what brought me here, though; this is the best writing community I have come across. I have learned much about writing and publishing online, and am still learning. I enjoy getting feedback from others, and reading other hubs as well.

I'm here solely for fun as many other people are, and all of the comments really make it all worth it. Keep on hubbing  smile

It's to get my brain working at least. If I'm not thinking of other things, at least I am thinking of writing and reading from HubPages. And I guess it is merely for the love of writing. If hubbing leads me to making a profit, perhaps my direction will be different. For now, I am enjoying writing, reading and having a community of awesome, caring people.

I noticed that majority of  "us" hubbers are here for the love of writing and the joy it gives us. Maybe that is why HP is not really enthusiastic to give our fair share (pay) for the hardwork and dedication that we do here? Just a thought fellow hubbers. *smile*

I am very new to HP and joined for the love of my new passion- writing. In less time, I'v got addicted to it and love to read what others share. It's such a great learning experience and at the same time you are appreciated for what you are.
