Hi Alecia-I agree. I know many hubbers read work and don't leave a comment, but if I take the time to write a comment it's taking time away from my own writing and I, like you, feel it warrants a response-at least a short acknowledgement. Thanks.
Thanks-I think that is one of the reasons that HP works so well for me-it's a place to share ideas and I've had a few experiences where there was a 'pick and choose' response. It may have been an oversight...Thanks for your input.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts on the subject, lemonkerdz. I usually take the time to respond and like to know that it was read. :)
Barbara-that's a good one-never read the hub! Thanks :) Disappointed is the right word for it. Thanks for your input.
Thanks for your response, Snakeslane. I think that is some of what I feel, also.
Thanks for taking the time to answer this question, I appreciate it. Sounds like you have a particular routine that works for you. :) Happy writing to you.
I follow my comments through my activity button. I guess I hadn't considered the fact that people read hubs and don't make comments. Thanks for your input.
Thanks for your answer, Marsei. :)
aykianink-no apologize nec. This certainly wasn't aimed at you. I'm always grateful at the author's response, no matter the length. This Q. was out of curiosity if anyone else was frustrated by this occurrence. Thanks 4 your 'confession' lol.
Interesting. Thanks for commenting.
Hi UW. Thanks for your feedback. :)
Hmmm, so you don't check for comments through your account? I'm confused. I don't use the tool, and never have depended on, the HP 'alert'. I've only gone through my account. Which I also check for Spam. Thanks for your feedback.
Hi bozo-you feel very strongly about this, obviously. I hope you have a chance to read some of the reasons that people don't respond; it may shed some light on reasons other than a personal attack. Thanks for your answer. Enjoy your weekend.
