How do I get rid of the video format in a hub?
How do I change a hub format to get rid of the video format? I want to delete it and have the hub as an article..help please? it says you can change the format..but I jsut can't get rid of the video capsule a the top of the hub....help please.
This can not be reverse. This is what I understood from the format mentioned. You can make new hub with same details but I don't know if it is acceptable or not.
As far as i am aware. You cannot delete the video from a video based hub.
The easiest way is to write a new hub without using the video hub capsule and transfer the text that you want to keep. Save this new hub unpublished.
Delete the first hub and leave it for 24 hours until it is gone from your account, then publish the new hub that contains the information you wanted to keep.
I had to do this myself for one of my hubs, when the video hubs were first introduced. It is a pain in the neck but you can salvage the text etc at least.
Good luck.
I thought this was the policy, but Wayne seems to report there is a way to X it out and change the format. I know you can easily upload a NEW VIDEO to replace one you don't like or has become out-dated. You can also go to the Hub and click the DELETE
Wayne is probably thinking that the question is on deleting 'video capsules'.
Thanks for your help.
It's a bit annoying as in the 'start a new hub" page in format it clearly says in bold type "Don't worry you can change your mind later" which I understood to mean that I could actually change the format...silly me!! I think not.
I think this needs to be removed.
Once again thanks for your help..may the adsense fairy go crazy and flutter her wings to bring you millions of clicks!
Sadly, you're only option is to delete the hub, and then recreate a new one with the same title or a different name. The reason is that once you create a video featured hub, or convert an article hub into a video one, then there's no reversing it back. I know it stinks, but it's just how the hubpages staff has it set up.

How to change the URL of a Hub?I have a hub that was going to have a different article and then I changed my mind and wrote a different hub. The url now has the name of the old hub instead of the new one. Anyone know how to change the Url of a hub? Thanks in advance to your helpful answers.

I originally began the hub as a poem only -- then I got so involved in research of the place where I wrote the poem that I changed the title to an Educational/historical site hub. However, I had saved the hub unpublished before I changed the title and category. Now the link is still the poem title...

Argggggghhhhhhhhh, I am livid right now, even though it is nearly 03.00am. I wrote a hub about two years ago about Oliver Reed's (yes, the actor), adventures in Guernsey. This hub consisted of true stories my Husband had shared with me about his friendship with Oliver Reed when he lived over here....

How do you delete the new video capsule from your hub?I accidently put the wrong video in, and I couldn't delete it as there wasn't an X to click on, any ideas? thanks!

Some people say you should never, ever delete a hub...only edit it and such. What makes you just completely trash your own hubs?

I created a new Hub not yet published, but don't like the format. The four choices are:* Article* Video* Recipe* Copy TemplateI chose Video, but I don't want this. Now, after selecting this format, I cannot find out how to change it, despite the promise on the "Create a Hub" page that...
