    Thank you for the advice Sidkemp!! What exactly is the Welcome Wagon? I'm afraid I'm very new to hubpages. Any other advice you might have out there will be most welcome as well!!

    Your commentor level is based on your last 9 months of commenting. If you slow down, it can go down. Also, only a certain number of Hubbers hold each rank. So, when you go up, if others go up too, you may slip back. briefly.

    It actually can help bring you money, indirectly. It increases your Hubber Score, which gets you more readers, which gets you more page views, which increases your income.
