Can I link to other articles I've written on the web?
I also have articles on another writing site. Can I link to them if the subject matter is relevant to the hub I'm writing?
Yes you can give the link but the content should not be copy from other article ( although it is written by you).you can give links for further reference
Great! Thanks so much for your answer.
Stephanie
Yes, you can, but you should only add one link to the external articles per hub. While you can have up to two links per hub, one is sufficient.
Thank you for your helpful reply. Wow, you have a 100 ranking? Must have taken a lot of work to get there. Congratulations. Aloha, Stephanie
You can but make sure you link to relevant sites only, ie. sites whose subject matter is the same as the hub you're linking from. Google likes links that keep readers 'moving forward' in their search. If the link appears to be to an unrelated website, Google will see that as a step backward for your readers and so will penalise your hub by ranking it lower in search rankings. Attribution links to images you use are included in this, so if your attribution link doesn't link to a related site, avoid giving attribution if it's not required or avoid using an image that requires attribution if you can.
It's OK to include more than one relevant link. Like keywords, links should be proportionate to the amount of text in your hub. I would include one link for every 200 words or so.
Thanks for your most helpful reply. That tip about Google is important and so is the attribution link info for images. Aloha, Stephanie
Awww thank you so much, I'm so happy I could help. You've made my day
You can but I would like to suggest you only link to one of these articles per hub. Google and Hubpages look down on to much linking to external sites that break the flow of the reading.
Thanks for your reply. It's always good to know how the 'powers that be' think. Aloha, Stephanie

I've had links to my own related hubs snipped on several occasions (mostly blatant lists at the end of a hub), but some links have been left in place after several snips. So is it acceptable to include a link to a hub which may be very relevant to the specific content in a section of a hub, if it...

I wrote an article and put a link to one of my other articles which is on a niche site. So, it's a link from Hubpages to a niche site. Now many are saying Hubpages looks bad to Google. Is this link going to be considered a "bad" one and affect rank in the search engine?

I know there is a rule about "self promotion in the forums."I just want to clarify what it means. Does it mean there is a blanket ban on all links in our own posts that link to any hub we've written or site or article we own?ORAre we allowed to post our own hub links if relevant to the...

I am not looking to name names here as this happens quite a lot on Hubpages, but can someone please clarify whether or not it is against the rules for a Hubber to come to your hub, leave a comment and then include a link to one of their own hubs as a part of that comment. I know it says under each...

My most recently snipped hub is about a specific product that is not readily available in stores. It used to have an amazon capsule, but that was deleted courtesy of HubPro a while back. Made no sense to me at the time because I've had multiple sales through amazon for that product, but I didn't...

If a visitor to any given hub makes a comment I believe that's a good thing. But what if that visitor leaves a link, usually embedded into their name, to another website or another hub. Thsi has happened a lot and generates a lot of questions in my mind. For example; If the hub is on back pain and...
